Title: Telekenesis.. Is this for real?!?
Post by: Astral-Trea on January 13, 2014, 01:18:30
Hi everyone,

So I am sort of skeptical about telekenesis. I have seen alot of youtube videos of people using psi wheels made out of tin foil that move with heat from your hands or air, and also people trying to make water running from a facet move, which is does on its own. I have also seen alot of people faking stuff on youtube using invisible thread, visual fx, or camera tricks and claiming it to be real.

On the other hand, I have also seen an old chinese man who has demonstrated himself pushing things across a table, including a heavy bowl of water which I DO believe is real.. He says he uses his Chi.

So I am open minded and I want to believe that telekenesis is a real thing that people can learn. Unfortunately, so many people fake things like this just to get attention and be part of a group i guess... That it taints those who are genuine... Just like alot of things I suppose.

My question is, how many of you here have actually been able to move things with your mind and have you recorded videos of it? Have you done it with controlled situations like encased objects that cant be affected by air etc?

And if this is real, is it possible for anyone to learn it?

I normally stay over in the astral projection side of this forum but figured I would wonder over and endulge my curiosity.

It's real enough.

When I was younger, one of the websites I frequented was psipog, which was a site dedicated to the exploration of "psionics". Sitting on the floor of my room I tried moving a psi-wheel almost every single night for a few weeks to no avail. The first time I saw it shake I remember being so excited I wanted to go run laps around the house, however I was still very skeptical, thinking maybe I was just breathing too hard or maybe the A/C had moved it, even though I'd never seen the A/C have any effect on it previous to that point. I started turning the air off when I practiced just for assurance. Over a few months I got to the point where I could rotate it in both directions with a mason jar over it and from standing on the opposite side of the room, but controlling which direction it went was still very difficult without being close to it and that frustrated me. I decided to move on to rolling a toothpick which I never had much luck with. I might have made it shake once or twice but more often than not the toothpick would simply disappear from my vision completely until I blinked, which I found fascinating but again, frustrating. Not long after, my father passed away and my life took a bit of a turn and I ceased practice. I had proven to myself though that TK could be achieved, even if only in a small way. I was in a bookstore a few weeks after my dad's funeral and I came quite by chance across a book called Astral Dynamics, that had been misplaced in the language section where I was looking for a book to learn Gaelic. The more I read the more I was hooked so my mom bought it for me and that's how I was introduced to AP, and in fact what brought me to this site almost 10 years ago :)

You have every single right to be skeptical about these things, it's only natural. I think the only thing that society is willing to blindly believe in without hesitation is God, because most people are brought up to believe, or fall into peer pressure because almost everyone else believes. I had no belief in God as a child because it was so forced down my throat by my grandmother that I rejected it. Oddly enough I found God, or at least what I deem to be God, through astral projection.

Anyways, the whole point of my long ramble is that if you can take on the mantle of experimenting and proving things to YOURSELF, you'd be amazed what you can do. You're already an open-minded individual or you wouldn't be here on this site. The only thing that's left to do is to try. What's the worst that could happen? Quite literally nothing. At the very least, staring at an object incessantly will drastically improve your concentration, I'll attest to that.

Hi and thank you very much for your story! It is very intriguing and makes me definately want to try this stuff out. I tried to find the site you mentioned but couldnt. I found a few links that said psipog but they all were expired.

Could you, or anyone else, recommend a good website to learn these things from scratch like I want to do? I could google it I guess but I want to stay away from the misinformation and BS sites. I am anxious to try it..  i have actually carefully balanced a pen on the edge of a desk and tried to use my mind to make it fall but it didnt work so I probably am not doing it right, other than visualizing it I am not sure what I need to do.

Yeah the site itself went inactive a long while ago because the owner had moved on to make another website (which I don't know the name of, I'm sorry). He left the site up as an archive for a number of years but it looks as if that too has finally gone. You can use takemeback though: http://web.archive.org/web/20080701033740/http://www.psipog.net/ (http://web.archive.org/web/20080701033740/http://www.psipog.net/). You might not be able to access everything, but a decent amount should still be available.

There are a lot of good reads there but to be honest just clearing your mind of thought and concentrating on the object for long periods of time, just silently willing it to move is what worked for me. It took a while, but it eventually paid off.

P.S. You're rekindling my interests hehe. Seeing that site again was like taking a step back into childhood.

You can do this even via AP/trance. We had a user here who said he used his 'etheric body' to produce raps and move objects in his room. He had no vision when he did this but only concentrated on his 'kinetic' senses. The 'classic' author Sylvan Muldoon did this raps and kinetic thing too. Here's from this forum:

http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_out_of_body_experiences/is_obe_been_proved_scientifically-t37667.0.html;msg308883#msg308883

QuoteI have moved objects under different etheric states. I'll give one example of me actually moving an object from each etheric state.

1) One etheric state is by expanding your etheric body while it is still in the physical body. This would be an etheric ballooning expansion which makes contact with an object to move it. This has to be done relatively close to the physical body, since the etheric body is technically still attached to the physical body, but it has expanded to make contact with the object. The most amazing example of this etheric state is when I was laying in bed on my back and knocked a curtain down off its rail. This scared me a lot, until I realized what I did. I inspected the curtain afterwards to make sure it was a valid experiment. The curtain came down at the exact same moment I willed my etheric energy towards it.

2) The second etheric state is by actually separating your etheric body from your physical body and moving your etheric body to the object. There is no etheric ballooning effect with this type since there is an actual separation of the etheric body from the physical body. The most amazing example of this etheric state is when I knocked the toilet bowl cleaner handle apparatus off my shower wall frame. I put it here to allow it to dry before I would store it away. This one I had to pull in etheric matter from the environment to make my separated etheric body denser to allow myself to be able to knock it down. After I knocked it down, I went straight back to my body to confirm this experience was successful.

I personally believe I have a very recent experience with electrokinesis during AP, so for me it's 'for real' indeed.  8-)

I've moved psi wheels hundreds of times and sometimes larger objects. I explained telekinesis in the "HOW IT WORKS" section of http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_metaphysics/from_zero_to_bending_space_in_5_months_it_changed_my_life_forever-t44400.0.html and gave a video link earlier in that thread, basically that it happens when you prepare your mind to have the same reaction to if the psi wheel moves one way or the opposite way.

I know that a lot of people fake it, but I believe it's real.
Years ago I used to practice it with my own methods and I had experienced rotating a homemade PSI wheel(Once it was rotating quite significantly) and a few other times I had success with moving small gum packaging and a pencil.
I really should have continued practising...
