Telepathy: The ability to transfer and/or recieve thoughts, images, and sounds.
Empathy: The ability to read the emotional state of another person. I am not sure if it includes the abiltty to send emotional suggestions to others though.
I have had some experience with both.

Its not like talking. Its more like thinking. Usually when I try to do telepathy, its hard to determine if thoughts are my own or other peoples'.
yea ive read that its hard to determine if thoughts are yours or other peoples.
but what happens if you remove your thoughts ? then all that is left is others thoughts right ?
ive no idea... so anyone who is good at telepathy... try this out.. or anyone who can answer. could it work so ?

They say that astral beings communicate by telepathy - it's really easier and more perfect way of connection. And it's very hard or impossible to hide your real nature[;)] I often have empathy, more rare telepathy, but in both cases I think it's a matter of mental adjustment - if you're mooded in high frequency your abilities are more sensitive and it's easier to acheive the states we're talking about. Sometimes it's hard for me to distinguish telepathy from empathy - when I look at someone I get an imformation about them, sometimes I "catch" a "thought" which seems more like emotion - a quick vibration...it's not a vision, it's not a word - it's more like a signal, impulse that lets me know the passing person's emotions... But it's very messed and confusing most of the time.
And it's definitely easier to acheive telepathy with a person who's physicly "opened", who's on your "frequency".
I'm afraid I can't say anything more about that right now - I sense things, but I can't explain them[:I] I'm still working at it and I have a lot to learn...

Hmm if i wish to know how someone is feeling i mimic them and see what emotions is produced , also when talking to someone and you mimic them (try not to blatantly obvius or they may be offended).
You will get a better impression of the others posision (your doing similar movements and hearing the words produced with thise movements). And the other will feel that your paying good atencion to hes words.
After a little while it will feel that your in their "frequency" and you can notice they will begin mimicin you in return(unless hostile off course). Ussually now they will pay good attencion to your words in return and consider them well.
Evil tounges will call it manipulation, so i never speak of this skill to anyone =P. If you spend time with the person i would think at some point you will find they cant lie very well to you.(thought knowing the truth is another matter).
Ohh and is great fun also to see if someone realy does know the answer to a question . Espessially since , "I dont know" is seldom to hear this days , is it realy forbidden not to know?
I would say my empathy , is based on , the basic knowledge of the basic bodypositions , mimicing their body movements, Considerating my knowledge of the individual ohh and perhaps using their paraphrases if you can spot them(words they like to use , like i hear , i feel etc.).
Ok one more funny observation , anyone who seen a psycologist ,ever noticed that when you speak of your worries they will cross their legs and/or arms(or a BIG noteblock tilting somewhat upwards, writing either big or on everyother line to justify it). It means ," not realy interested" OR they are shielding their own emotions from feeling with you ,and is defencive stance.
And this is the PROS of emotions and thoughts. Showing that even they cant hide their feelings consistantly. One can lie trough body language for a short time only,and it demands MUCH attencion .
So does anyone think this is "empathy" or just sosial manipulation?

Absolutely Yes!
I've practiced telepathy for a total of no more than 8 hours in my entire life, but I am still confident that I can send and receive colours, numbers, emotions quite accurately. It is a very simple skill.
(forgive the UK spelling)
My basic 'no-frills' method: To send a colour. Sit across from your practicing partner. Both of you relax (no more than 10 seconds). Close you eyes (optional, i like to rule out the possibility of body language) .(optional) Visualise a 'tunnel' of light or other connection from one person to the other (no more than 30 seconds).
The sender visualises a colour, visualises being surrounded by that colour, visualises the receiver being surrounded by that colour, visualises being in the receiver's point of view and seeing the colour, visualises being the receiver and seeing the colour. Lots of 'action' and different points of view should be applied to what you're sending.
The receiver just waits, trying to keep a blank mind. You do not need to be an expert at meditation, or have a totally clear mind. You just need to know not to 'decide' or think of a colour. If a colour pops up, don't forget it, but dismiss it. If it keeps coming up, maybe that's the one. In the end, there will be one colour that you've 'got a feeling it is', more than any other.
(The sending/receiving part normally takes 1 minute)
That's all. Just practice that a few times, you should notice improvements at a fast rate. In the beginning there will be a lot of "OOOH, That's the one I thought it was first, but I changed my mind, damn!". Keep practicing, you'll naturally learn to identify which feelings you should be going with.
I don't get much chance to practice, so if you do have someone to practice with, well, i'm jealous.

I find that telepathy is a hard thing to control. It's hard to explain I hear the thoughts and emotions all the time as a background wisper. But I can't control what thoughts, images, etc come to me.
Could someone possibly tell me about telepathy and emaptahy
