If you're thinking about getting energy work done for you instead of you doing it yourself, Robert Bruce in Astral Dynamics states that most if not all pay programs that supposedly do energy work, even Reiki alignment, are a bunch of phoney quick fix schemes.

However, I suggest you use the search function provided on this site and look for Reiki. You may be able to find something that extends your knowledge on the problems associated with such techniques, and you may find it easy for you to do yourself with proper guidance or self-inflection.

Could you possibly extend your beliefs around reiki (and what it is you're trying to fix) for everyone so at least I can try to help you better? I'm just shaking the [8] on some of the things I've hit on in the above, with assumptions about how you think in some cases. Anyways, hope to hear back from you!
