Hello everyone, I just wanted to know if any one saw any thing different about the Moon New Years Eve around midnight when the New Year began? I saw something I had never seen before. Is there any one else who saw something special about the Moon?

no, but I did see something weird the night of the lunar eclipse in October in the US; flocks of birds in the middle of the night flying in a half-circle formation.  not an arrow.  a half circle, around and around.  it was really eerie.

Electa5 just said she/he saw something on New Years Eve regarding the Moon, but never specified what it was. I was curious as to what exactly it was.

an orange moon? i've seen a red moon and a white moon but orange? now i know why there are cartoons that show the moon as being made out of cheese

no its weird to explain....ive seen people who can cause lightinging to strike in certain places and cause storms and cause some of the skys aura to change minorly and if it were them causing the moon to be "orange" (meaning temporarly changing the aura) then that would cause things that are affected by the moon would screw up...Hint hint

oh, i thought you mean the phyicle appearance.

btw does anyone know what makes the moon look red sometimes? i mean i doubt liturally the surface of the moon turns red, yet it appears red at site, is there something in our atmosphere that makes it appear red at times? since i like it during the rare cases of a red moon

hows it perfectly normal, the moon should be a whitish always, yet sometimes it appears either red or orange (the red is darker than the orange so its not the same colour just voiced as different coulours by people)

can't be normal if its such a rare case of it being red or orange

Take an Astronomy class.

The moon 'appears' orange and red all the time.  A number of factors contribute to it, including if it's dawn/dusk, dirt in the air(volcanic erruptions are a factor as well), close/far from earth, and the angle of incidence with respect to the observer.  The same factors contribute to why it looks 'bigger' when it rises/sets than when it's in the middle of the sky.

Changing the moons Aura?  That would be a powerful individual indeed!

Moons aura changes by its own, knowing which "cosmic" factors exert pressure over it would be great for any astronomy class.

Not nessesarliy being a powerful individual....because mostly everything we believe is difficult to do isnt as hard as it seems....This individual has overcome everything being "hard" to do and has realized hw easy it is......I also agee the moons aura can change by itself and its perfectly normal but influencing it causes lunar problems to our weather and earthly effects.....Just like if someone were to cause a storm that means in another place there could be a drought because that place was where the storm was intilaled to go.

I agree,  but moons aura is an effect made by the influence of "higher magnetic cosmic energies". So , if any one wants to work with the moon (changing the weather or etc) , first must be able to manipulate this higher magnetic energies.

when I saw the moon during the eclipse it was a blood color. but I do know that when I go to kung fu
and practise outside under the moonlight my memory is supercharged and I can remember anything. i love the moon it has taken such good care of me. I really dont want them to use that advertising laser on it. no joke they really did make a laser that companies can use for advertising that is powerful enough to use on the moon, and I SWEAR IF THEY DO I WILL DISEMBOWEL THEM VICIOUSLY NO ONE WILL SCREW AROUND WITH THE MOON. it still pisses me off about those astronauts landing there. the moon is holy and should not be messed with.
