Cool, well it might have been anything moving the can, I don't know the curcumstances. If you know that it was you moving it without thinking, then it was your subconciuss moving it. Next time think about moving a can, but put it in the back of your mind like it isn't important then you should be able to do it if you think about it like that.
Aphotica, telekinesis works best when you dont try. Dont get mad. You figured out how to do it. Dont try to not try either. Dont do anything. When you do that, it should be obvious what subtle (and undescribable) thing you have to do.
I just realized the biggest irony. Telekinesis is such a complicated art, yet it requires total stupidity on the concious brain's part. It works best when your brain is just numb and completely quite. You know what you want it to do, theres no reason to think about it any more.

Hephaestus, I'd like to do that, but it usually only works when other people arent around. I'd get slightly nervous when the camera pointed at me, and that would be enough to make it not work.
Sometimes people have a tendency to over-complicate this process. When you stated that you said "jokingly" that you would move it, that told me that you were probably very relaxed and felt no pressure in trying to move it. That's when it seems to work best because when you are very tense and try to force it to move, it just flat won't bidge an inch.

No, TV is crap. What the world needs is for real, scientific proof of OBE and psychokenesis. Hone your abilities, and then find someone credible enough who is willing to do real experiments. That would be a truly great feat.

Everybody uses TK some. Spirits have to do TK to affect their body's brain to control it some.
The only complications to overcome are that you have to build up expectation fully and release expectation fully.

I have been into telekinesis for maybe 6 months, (on and off). SO I am lazy, I admit it. About two or three days ago, I was at my friends house practing this ability. Jokingly, I tried to roll a pop-can and it worked. When I really tried, I wouldn't work! So I need help! Its like, my sub-conscience knows when to anger me. I can picture it now: "Hmm, lets tinkle of Jacob! We'll make this can move when he isnt trying, then not allow when he is!" Sorry for ranting, but can anyone help me with this? Thanks! ^_^
