First of all, I'm not exactly the most experienced with this sort of thing, but panic is clearly not something you should be doing. If anything can be done, your vision should contain symbols that tip you off.

Just so you know, visions tend not to be literal, and most things you see are symbolic. You might not have to worry as much as you think.

And if you do have to worry, at least you have time to prepare yourself for what may come. It's good to know in advance sometimes.

well, i guess we'll start off by having you go through the "Vision Checklist" of things to do when you have a vision:
_____
First off, when having a vision, panic. it's the best stress reliever at this point, and it's pretty fun too.

Secondly, you'll want to make sure everyone knows about it; friends, family, and especially complete strangers. You'll also want to make sure that everyone knows you are some sort of Prophet from God since you have been given such a vision.

Thirdly, have all of your new followers kill themselves when the vision turns out to be false. That way no one will be left to say you were completely nutzoid the next time you have a vision.
_____
just kidding, btw. there really is no checklist for "things to do" when you have a vision. all you can really do is take the vision as a possible chance at being able to prepare for something or as a possible chance to "clear your sins" before you die.

but here's some ideas, based on what the vision said was gonna happen

if:
1) all mankind is killed off, then enjoy the days that you have before it happens. of course this doesn't mean just do whatever the heck comes to mind, but have fun and continue to do good things. after all, it may not happen (so don't shirk responsibilities either).

2) a war happens (as a few people have had visions of), prepare for it in case it actually comes.

3) mass destruction kills many but leaves survivors, then who cares? go grab a pizza and think about your life, about why you'd want to live and what you truly have to live for.

if the vision was meant to be literal, i'm sure you'll know that it is. if it is clearly symbolic, the check up on your symbolism.

Care to enlighten us with the vision you experienced? we could help out and discuss its cause/effects to the point of obliteration, but we would be satisfied with you telling us what you saw.
If someone has the knowledge, and wants to do something, how far do you think they can go, if they lack the experience, and are unable to sustain the amount of effort needed to succeed?  ~ Self 2/25/2003

Alright, you need to approach visions as if they are dreams. First, you should ponder the reality of it. Did it seem real enough to actually happen? Did it contain anyone you knew? If it was very real, and you believe it to be a future event, you can take steps to prevent it from happening.

The future isn't a set thing. You can warn people and avoid any dangers.

Now, if it wasn't realistic, (like a pink elephant stampede), there's probably a hidden message for you to decipher.

I hope that helped some
