Ever experience a time warp? I just discovered this passage about a vortex at a place called Split Rock Quarry in Syracuse, NY. Since I live in that city, I may go and try it out next year in the spring or summer. :)

Will do. It will probably be next year in the spring or summer (if I'm still living in Syracuse). I'm still having trouble finding out if the place is open to the public or not. Last I knew they were trying to make it into some kind of park.

I remember being told when visiting caves that people weren't encouraged to touch them. When you do salt off your skin makes the stalactites black instead of a waxy colour. Blood has salt in it. I'm assuming the blood on these stalactites is put in the story to dramatise it.
Interesting nonetheless.
