ok, so sometimes i can enhance the reception on my crappy tv, cause i dont have cable. and sometimes it works out really well. this isnt really the point. the point is that while doing this, sometimes my perception is altered and certain objects seem to floating up, but they stay connected to the ground, almost like they are stretching up. this occurrence has been minor in the past, and only lasts a few seconds at a time. however, i was doing it today, and my desk, and the curtains around it, drastically stretched upward. it lasted about a minute as i slowly watched, and carefully studied how the desk and the curtains expanded. if i had to say, i think the desk started out as 3 ft tall, and expanded to 5 ft. i had to write about it, because it was so strange. i was just sitting there, concentrating on the screen, and out of nowhere, it started to change. i even broke concentration, and it still continued. however, i didnt move around to see it from all angles, i did move my head, but i stayed sitting where i was. ive never heard of this sort of thing as being psychic, so there's a big chance i may be going insane because of my emotional problems. let me know what you think.
ok, this is like 12 hours later, but i was in class today. and i dropped my phone. and i was reaching my hand to get it, and decided to exercise my energy my extending it out to my phone. i cant really do tk, but i attempt it many times a day with little things. well, this time, the phone lifted a little bit, and i thought i saw it move, like the desk stretched in my last post on this topic. of course i thought it was a trick, then it slid forward about 5 inches. i was amazed and told my friends. then i went back and tried to do it again. it moved to the right a little bit, but then it stopped. i remember my mind felt the same way as it did when i saw what happened in the last post. im not sure what's going on. i think i may be going a little crazy.

I haven't ever had cable television and have always had poor reception. When there are horizontal or diagonal lines of interference running up the TV and I watch if for several minutes, whatever I look at when I look away has the illusion of moving and stretching upwards (I always close my eyes and shake my head when I see it). I don't know if this is what you're talking about, but in my case it's 100% perceptual illusion caused by the lines on the TV.
Hallucinations caused by a "psychic" source aren't desirable.
nah, i dont have to be watching tv when the stretching thing happens. i just have to be focusing and this cloudy mist of something enters my thoughts.
This is a 'natural' phenomenon of the mind. It has something to do with how movement is interpreted by the brain, and through observation, objects can be made to look like they are stretching or shrinking. What is occuring is that the brain is sensing movement which actually isn't there - so the illusion of expansion or shrinking is created.
There is a lot of 'fluff' which perceptional filters remove from visual processing. It's possible to become aware of it (for what ever reason) - although it can become very distracting and overtime it will start to happen beyond your control - this can become very distressing as a negative feedback loop can be created i.e. you can't help but notice the movement, so you see it more and look for it more, which inturn makes it more pronounced etc.
Certain conditions (usually caused through the use of psychedelic drugs) force this on to people - HPPD (Hallucinogen persisting perception disorder) being one of them. Although HPPD brings up a lot more than such movement illusions.
My advice would be to ignore it before it becomes self perpetuating as personal experience shows it leads to depersonalisation and all that entails.
wow. thats pretty intense. so im self inducing a psychotic effect. odd.

It suggests you are being aware and observant of the moment - that is being able to see visual artifacts which are usually filtered out before we are consciously aware of it. It's just something that can have negative effects if it is focused on and caused to grow :).
my question is, do i need to talk to my therapist or an exorcist. and how is this awareness related to normal awareness. and is it crazy if its all just energy anyway?

An exorcist wouldn't be able to do anything for this, and neither would a therapist – unless you are feeling issues about it.
This awareness is normal awareness; it just shows you are being more observant of moment-to-moment detail than people who stumble through life not noticing much. This is generally considered a good thing for people interested in spiritual pursuits.
Even though everything is energy, it's infinitely more complicated then that.
If it's not bothering you, don't worry too much about it. Only be concerned if it starts becoming an issue.
haha stretching of the tv happens when I play Guitar Hero 2
Finally someone who has had a similar experience as me. Well when it happened to me i was at the computer on this site to be exact, and i was concentrating on feeling the energy and its flow around me. I then began to see my computer desk in front of me expanding and whatever i focused on with my sight i saw in an expanded state. I moved my head around but i lost focus (as i usually do when multitasking, lol) and the effect faded in seconds. I wonder if there are many other people who have experienced this.
probably. we're all connected, im sure we're not the only ones.
ok, so ive been attempting telekinesis. cause its like, my thing. and ive been starting to get huge headaches. ive made objects shake a tiny bit, or shaking objects slow down much faster than the same shaking object next to it. and electronics are reacting strangely. my watch seems to slow down, and speed up. my computer definitely reacts to my moods. if im feeling good, it will run fast, and if my dad walks in the room, ill get all pissy and then it will slow down. most of the reactions come from sound. sometimes, when im listening to music, the volume level will raise on its own. its happened on my ipod, my mac, my tv, and at the theatre. the most noticeable place was when we were watching the news, my interest would grow, id look at the tv, and the volume would just raise, and the volume level indicator did not show up on the screen when it happened. it got so loud that the other kids complained. then it died down after i started talking to my friend. i think my success(if you can call it that) is from a new technique i just taught myself. if i focus the thought in the area right behind my eyes, my hand chakras seem to open and charge immediately, and it is much easier to influence the object. i can tell its working from a slight pain/pressure in that area. and thats pretty much it. i use it to get to webpages faster when my internet isnt working well. so lemme know what you think.
