What do you see when you close your eyes?

I have often wondered what others see when they close their eyes. As I often read people say they see complete darkness/blackness, but when I close my eyes I see murky colours and shapes swirling and continuously changing colours the more you concentrate. Interestingly, I mostly see greens and blues, and sometimes violet and Indigo.

I have always assumed this to just be light filtering in through your eye lids, and that that others also see the same, but seem to label this as darkness. I asked my mother what she saw once, and she told me she saw rays of light radiating from a single point. This made me wonder whether she was just seeing what I saw, and labeled it something else, although her description sounded much more vivid than what I see. Unfortunately, as these experiences are so subjective and language so limited, it's difficult to know or verify what others are seeing.

Yesterday, I was reading an article on phasing on this forum by Frank(good article Frank) and he mentioned how when you close your eyes and start to become aware, you begin to catch glimpses of other dimensions.

Now, I am very curious, as to what others see when they close their eyes.

I see dark human like things interacting, and some objects here and there. All auras so I mainly see the shapes. I used to think it was my imagination but I realized I have no control over what I see.

Quote from: runlolaI often see a red spiral, I can't recall which direction it goes in...sometimes it's red with green too. What does it mean?

Some people describe clairvoyantly seeing their charka that look like swirling colored energy.
^ I probably would have thought that's insane a year ago.

i believe we all can become clairvoyant and that as we grow naturally some events speed up a predictable continuum of this development.

as we become more clairvoyant we see more with our eyes closed than when we were just beginning to see

most things get worse as we get older well after we reach our peak they decline; our reflexes , our memory , our capacity to learn , our sight , our joints , our muscles , our physical beauty wanes with the decline of elasticity in our skin too .

BUT
our spirituality continues to get better as we age
and this is evidenced in our clairvoyant ability

our pineal gland is believed to effect our clairvoyant sight
this has been shown to respond better in dark or dim light
and bright light impairs this vision
so when we close our eyes
as in sleep dream or night time Astral travel
we can see better with the third eye vision
and the pineal gland is said to become erect !

when it is dormant it lies horizontally and flaccid
maybe to develop clairvoyant site
we need mental viagra lol

anyway what do we see ?
curious  like you i asked my mates
in my group we all evolved
pretty much the same way
in this sort of a continuum  of steps

--
nothing
-----
then black shadows and white light
( this is like the physical sight developing btw like rods )
---------
then we began to see rose magenta indigo or violet monochrome orbs
this is curious to me
people often see an eye at this time too
is th  violet eye commonly seen in beginner meditation
a physical phenomenon resulting from seeing an image of the retina and the reflection perhaps of the pupil or is is spiritual or both ?
the chakra of the third eye is this colour
but why does the mind so often begin with shades of violet ?
--------------
this became symbols in violet tones
then it became symbols in a simple message in violet tones
then it became streams in colours
------------------
about this time we noticed golden orbs or golden stripes
this became spirit first as silhouettes flat
then in 3 D profiles
-----------------------
then in colour but maybe just one colour
if the person is projecting in RTZ they seem to be indigo if male
and magenta if female
or gray if not strong aura
------------------------------
after we see spirit we can see in spiritual realms
------------------------------------
we see in RTZ at first as black and white
then some colour sense but not well
as "I saw a man with dark hair the curtains in his room hit the floor they were a heavy material of dark colour i feel they were navy "
---------------------------------------------
but it is not full colour vision all the time in RTZ
often RTZ alone is harder than groups in realms
the realms have higher energy
they tend to be full blown 3D full colour
-----------------------------------------------------
in further realms we can learn to wrap sound around an object to see it
this is cool like infrared but everything seems cyan to me when i look this way and this is new to me
----------------------------------------------------------
...and our  hearing is still impaired compared to sight

QuoteThe Pineal started to atrophy at that point and was only engaged again by artificial stimulation and naturally during the development of the fetus. After birth it remains active in the child to 5-6 years of age, until the Will has established itself. It also activates during the Dying process and the opening of the 6th then 7th Chakras after the Kundalini has been raised from the Base Chakra. (Chaney 19).

QuoteThe second form, the non-physical, is in my experience the most common. Often experienced as a picture in your mind's eye, or as an image projected on the back of your eyelids (when your eyes are closed), it's much harder to pin down, and therefore is often discounted as imagination by beginning clairvoyants. It is, however, every bit as valid as seeing things physically, and in fact can often be more useful to an experienced clairvoyant as it's usually accompanied by clairsentience. It takes a while to hone and trust this form, but for goodness sakes don't discount it. It's recommended that someone wishing to extend their clairvoyant abilities keep a journal of all they see and any resulting impressions, not matter how odd they may seem at the time. I can vouch for this personally, as it's often an eye-opening experience to go back later and have details verified.

So, you're probably asking, what causes clairvoyance and can anyone learn to do it? To answer the latter, yes, anyone can everyone has the capabilities to see clairvoyantly, given a little time, practice and patience. As for what causes it, it has been theorised that humans are slowly evolving into greater and greater clairvoyant abilities, and those that already use such techniques have just jumped slightly ahead on the evolutionary ladder. This view is supported by several Greek philosophers of Classical times referring to the "tri-coloured rainbow".

they are actually due to retinal stimulations even in darknes and it is physiological.
however if its too much to tolerate, it could be photopsia, an early symptom of retinal detachment

There are actually names for those patterns too

some are due to spontaneous neural discharge in Brodman's Area 17,18,19 in the occipital lobe of the brain and are more marked in epileptic patients

Woo for retnal detachment...

Anyways, I see the normal static that is seen when looking at anything as well as the white blob pressure points of the eyelid pressing on the eye.
