I THINK.......
consiousness is god.
god is the universal energy that makes all life possible.
god is not a being who identifies itself as "the creator"
consiousness/god are the blueprints for all dimensions of reality.
behind everything ever in the entire sphere of existence, there is the fundamental consiousness/energy/life essence.
if god were a being who could be identified AS god... then god himself would be able to question the origin of his own consiousness.
if this were the case, the origin of gods own existence would be a mistery to him, hence there would be something greater than god.
..and this isnt possible.
im not sure about the higher and lower states of consiousness... so the most logical thing to do would be to discover ways to highten our awareness and discover higher frequencies of reality.. everything this website looks into.
at the moment, anyone who doesnt strive to grow intelectually, spiritually and emotionally isnt "ready" to ask these kind of questions..
im sure once we attain a heightend state of awareness we would be more confident in answering this kind of question.. until eventually we wont need to ask.
i beleive all living beings in existence will eventually know this, and when they do "they" wil become "one" and this "one" will come to realise that it is all that has, and ever will exist... it will realise it is existence/god.
good job rodent. i also believe that consciousness is god. nothing else exists but god. god is existence is consciousness.
only one consciousness exists. i believe that and have seen it for myself before. unfortunately the experience ended and i'm only left w/ a memory. i believe the people that can control that experience, and constantly 'see' that, are enlightened.
i also think that one day all beings will 'see it' and there will be some universal oneness. that's probably going to be kick-butt.
This is a tricky thing to define for me. It's soooooo arbitrary. Doctors define it as the function of your cerebrum. Some define it as being aware. I prefer the defenition of being aware - from dreaming to waking.
But there are problems with defining it as simply 'being aware'. Like, where does consciousness come from? Awareness? If beings are lacking awareness, is their consciousness curbed? Like an animals or plants. Do they have awareness? Consciousness? Are they driven almost solely out of the need for survival?
Well, I'd just like to hear your thoughts on the subject.
