When looking at an aura...

Actually, that has happened to me, too. I found it annoying. For a while auras started to appear to me without my trying to see them and then the tunnel vision. My mind would start to go blank and my eyes would unfocus. It is hard to keep up a conversation when going into a trance and having the tunnel vision. Fortunately or unfortunately, this stopped.

Tom, are you supposed to get tunnel vision to see auras or not?

Does anybody else get white fuzz like energy around people when they look at people and not trying to see their auras?

I think that they are seen by exercising peripheral vision.  As someone said the trained eye can seen in the astral or the physical at will like a typist can push a shift key.
I cannot answer the question about tunnel vision
