I wonder if that is just an artist's interpretation, or the courier enzymes really do have robotic legs... if so, I am astounded.
And I never realzed DNA polymerase works forwards on one side and backward on the other... I always pictured it as a zipper with new base pairs floating in at either side; in fact I think that is how my biology text illustrated it, haha.
That is apparently an accurate portrayal of the molecules and how they interact. They're like little creatures.. so cool.
That's the problem with learning stuff at school... it'll be outdated by the time you leave.
The atom is the same... everyone sees it at a ball with little electrons spinning around it like a planet in orbit. But this couldn't be further from the truth.
And the electron?
When they get this one correct we will have all the power we need...
