Title: Ancient Past Discoveries Help Future Technology
Post by: Lionheart on February 24, 2013, 20:32:08
Well, the Title says it all. Once again an ancient clue/discovery is unearthed that will aide in helping with future technological development.

Now, if we could only learn how to levitate those giant stones. Just think of what we could create will that tech.

Apparently the footprint of a building or construction get's exponentially larger the taller it becomes. The Pyramid of Khufu being the optimum size for it's height. any more stones and that thing wouldn't be there. Clever swines.

I read in one of my historical architecture books that the reason the polished limestone cladding isn't there anymore is because the extra weight and a local earthquake caused extreme stress on the structure and basically cracked it off. It was recycled by a sultan in the 1300s to construct mosques and various buildings in Cairo.

I have seen it in the early days and it was polished like a mirror. What it was refecting is anyone's guess though!

Possibly the first actual functioning Solar Collector or Panel. But I have a feeling it goes way beyond that.

I can't get past the way they must have looked. Stunning is my best guess.  :-)

Your post reminded me of Coral Castle. If you haven't already heard about it, you should check it out. All the great pyramids could have been built in a day if everybody working on them knew what this guy knew.

Thank You for the link, but I know almost everything there is to read or hear about Ed Leedskalnin's Masterpiece. I have done quite a bit of research on it and the two books he wrote. One of which is said to have many secret codes in it. One of them the Magnetic Universe and other really intriguing one with all the mysteries surrounding it named "A Book In Every Home", where he leaves a blank page beside every written page, just so you may write down your interpretations or "decode" what he is really trying to say.

Here is a link to that book, see if you can decode it. http://www.leedskalnin.com/Leedskalnins-Writings-A-Book-In-Every-Home.html

One of my goals, bucketlist thing, is to go there and see it myself.

Yeah, I didn't really think there was much chance of CC escaping your attention but just in case.

Not to hijack your thread (but it was your first post that reminded me of this), do you think there was something to that little box at the top of that tripod he built or was that a red herring that he provided to throw us off track?

Also, I heard that he would always know if someone was trying to sneak up on him to watch his work but he always stopped unless they were kids. Was this true?

According to people in the field of Electro Magnetism, they say that that Black Box was very important. Some people believe that that hoist was just a prop though for those that tried to spy on him.

Yes, it is true that when his neighbors and the local townspeople tried to spy on him, he would stop his work and rest and it's reported that some local children saw the stones moving through the air like some kind of blimps or balloons. Which makes researchers even further look into the possibility that he may have learned to manipulate gravity using magnetic currents.

He also created Coral Castle twice. He found years after creating it the first time that he was 10 miles off of the "energy vortex/path" he wanted to be on. So, he dismantled the entire thing and rebuilt it in the new location.

The mysterious Black Box was never found or so they say.

I agree, pretty good for a person with only a 3rd grade education.  :-D
