Well, as I understand it, China has little to gain by waging war against the USA. The Chinese and US economies are intimately tied together, China being a mass net exporter to the USA. China doesn't actually need to go to war with the USA, it can be done economically. All China needs to do is stop exporting to the USA, that would bring America to its knees. But it would also harm the Chinese economy, so they wouldn't do it. Interesting blog though. Scary.

China doesn't actually need to go to war with the USA, it can be done economically. All China needs to do is stop exporting to the USA, that would bring America to its knees. But it would also harm the Chinese economy, so they wouldn't do it.

Well, when you talk about giving away a part of the country, it would be their first priority to protect it and not let anyone steal it because if they lose it, their economy would be the one to suffer first and if you have a suffering economy then you have starving citizens, high rate of criminal activities. Basically, the whole country suffers from it, making it WEAK. I think it's the duty of every country to protect their sovereign territories. Their economies in the future would suffer greatly from this while the one walking away with that "stolen" portion would profit from it. Their least concern would be the present economy. Everyone knows that "a business man always takes into account the future result before starting a business." China doesn't care if waging war would affect their current economy. What they are thinking right now is "what will be left of us after they cut portion after portion of our country." Economy is nothing without land territory for business use. And let us say, after waging war, who said China's main goal is to protect their economy if they can quadruple it by EXPANDING their territory? By waging war, they are just protecting their economies through keeping their territory.

Hey what's up! Hmm i think the Japanese government is more aggressive than ours (here in the Philippines).
They recently staged a purchase so that they can build defenses on the island already. (well they might not be staged if they really acted in good faith. Lol). Anyway, I think that what all the countries are doing are just protecting their territories. And when I say territories I mean the territories prescribed by the UNCLOS (United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea) in regards to what part is included in their territory. If you check it closely, China's claims are insanely unacceptable. Well, that is if you check it out with their infamous nine dotted map. Anyway, thanks for reading the article. You guys can tell you sides in regards to this subject.
