Hi Spiral, there was actually one on the news a few months ago in Queensland I think that crashed near a small town where people at night on there verandas saw it and heard the explosion. Probably around the same size I would think. But unless it hits a house it isn't big news. [;)]
Hi,
Thanks for the links. I get a lot of reports through being president of a research group here. This year has seen the highest number of reports for large objects seen by many people. About one months ago there were reports from all across Australia about large green 'meteors'. They were seen by various pilots, crew and passengers and people on the ground. Some even claim to have seen three of these objects sitting on the ground while their plane flew over them. Interesting stuff.
I didn't hear about the one in Queensland recently. There was one last week in Tasmania that went through the roof of a house. And I saw pictures with reports from the US, that included a car with a massive hole ripped through the hood, engine and into the road to a depth of three feet ! Lucky the owner wasn't polishing the hood at the time.
I recently got a report from a man I know to be honest and up-front, who saw something that amazed and frightened him, a huge green ball of light speeding from the horizon, over him, and to the west. He indicated the size by extending his arms and pretending to hold a basketball in his hands, then held it up to the sky for reference. This thing was huge. Certainly makes you think doesn't it ?
my bit [:P]
yup, UFOs and Chariots of the Gods man! I believe it, why not? It's easier to contemplate another lifeform than it is metaphysical concepts that are difficult to see or explain...
It´s liek in the Asterix: the sky is falling upon our heads! Let´s run my friends, run!
This one didn't hit a house, but wow!
