Hi Hannah, thanks for posting this.

Something in me says it is a scam or a hoax, as they use the common hooks such as "make more money", "be successful as people like Bill Gates", and play on the paranoid fear people generally have of "the establishment".

I think it is almost certainly something devious, but my monstrous curiosity can never rest when people make claims like that, so I indeed signed up and will tell you my impressions.

I'm a little wary of it; the whole thing strikes me as suspicious and that guys voice just seems weird. (Yeah, I do that all the time with self-help stuff. Like Silva UltraMind. The guy's voice on that unsettled me so I quit.)

EDIT: Not to mention that Google doesn't reveal much on this supposed 'six-month millionaire', varenycuiz.

OK-

I looked through the material for half an hour, and it mostly seems to check out; it primarily involves stuff like the law of attraction and mind-based view of the universe that most of those who accept OBE usually accept by default.

There are things about it I still feel odd about: the website describes it as a "course", telling the reader that it should be "studied" over six months, whereas it is quite clear it can be read word for word in two hours time; the website also says you must listen to the audio at the same time you read it, and on top of this, the darn thing then instructs you to RE-READ IT ALL SIX TIMES! Now people claim the Bible is the word of God, but for the most part I have not read most it more than twice. Who is this fellow to think his work should be peered over six times, lol? That is the stuff of indoctrination, which is the opposite of how spirituality should function- one should be discerning and question everything they are told, only accepting what makes sense to them.

Please do not take this the wrong way, most of what I read seems to be valid, and as along as you approach it with an open, yet discerning mind, it is worthwhile. The format seems funny, but beyond that a great presentation.

The reason you can't find much out about Varenycuiz the alleged self made millionaire on the The Secret Manuscript website is because he has recreated himself. His real name is Fred Varygan who did time in Canada on some pyramid scheme. After going on this site they attempted to sell me $4,000.00 worth of what I consider garbage. After a little investigation I found Varenycuiz Inc is incorporated in Nevada. The president of the company is some guy named Rich Giannini who evidently use to peddle business coaching and franchises for a company called Brad Sugars Action International.The most unsettling thing about this company is the Nevada Secretary of State lists Nevada Corporate Services Inc as their resident agent. This company along with the owner Richard Fritzler have been in trouble with the FTC. So concerned by his behavior the FTC has posted a case in the US District Court on the internet. You can google his name or pull it up on www.ftc.gov/opa/2005/01/assail.htm as I did. The FTC refers to Fritzler in this complaint as a audacious, brazen money launderer. Check out the portions of his attatched deposition where on page 45 thru 47 he testifies this company paid homeless people at the shelter 10 bucks to act as directors and shareholders of companies he forms. Later on page 48 he testifies to getting fake passports and drivers licenses in bogus names for clients of these companies explaining it is completely legal in case you get into a sticky situation with terrorists. To think they were after my credit card number. Buy the book watch the DVD The Secret is a great thing but this convicted felon appears to be cashing in on a good thing.
