What a fool... I hope he realizes what he *thinks* he's tapping into. It could potentially hurt those who watch it. Especially if it goes badly. People with such a large and un-dying ego, should never do a seance. Its only a recipe for disaster.

Plus you say he's going to use mind control as well???. Jesus I hope he's joking. Ive used mind control before.... that stuff is chock full of negitive energy, and the whole country is gonna watch it?[xx(]

EDIT: ....omg... I was reading what he has done on his website. That sounds a whole lot like the stuff I messed with. Especially when he starts talking about his "mind tricks". Which are blatent psionic attacks, that I myself have learned. Making people forget thing, semi-possession, force suggestion.... eeeeek. I hope that no one watches that show. The kinda negitive shockwaves that are gonna rip from that little show will be off the scale.[:O]

I saw his picture and something is "off" about him. I cannot place it, but whomever his guide is, is leading him in the wrong direction. Little parlor tricks like that, who discredit pplz like us, are the things that negs crave.I wouldnt be at all suprised if his guide is in fact a high level neg. No one of angelic descent would use their divinity as a ****ing magic show for profit!

I watched most of the show where Derren Brown employed suggestion to implant ideas which would eventually be revealed during the Victorian style séance in a climatic scene in a pitch dark room.

The sitters (a mixture of people on the whole in their twenties) became totally freaked out as group panic set in. Later Brown invited a spirit to show or reveal its self, and the sitters experienced what seemed like touches or energy awareness and flashes or balls of light (if I recollect correctly). One of the girls appeared to start to channel a spirit called Jane and gave some info about her. Although I noted that she was been led by Brown to provide the answers!  Brown very dramatically promised to light a candle which cast as dread shadow across the groups faces. Eventually the light were put on etc...

Towards the end a sealed envelope was produced and it was stated that the letter within had been written by Jane's brother. A DVD also in the envelope was produced and when played (with emotive ambient musak) a collage of her life was shown. Details within the letter appeared to marry up with the apparent evidence given earlier. As you can imagine many of the participants already in shock were driven to tears and stunned silence!

Brown then left the room, and it was revealed to the TV viewing public that the whole thing was a charade and the girl transpired to be actress was very alive and well. Meanwhile the sitters appeared to be left to stew in the room. Closing credits were shown indicating that the group would receive a full explanation and counselling/debriefing about what had occurred.

I thought the whole thing was appalling, but as I am someone who has a personal interest in mediumship I felt that it only showed up how there were examples of abuse of the vulnerable during spiritist séances of yesteryear. However it also seemed to attempt to show contemporary spiritualism in only the poorest light, and offered nothing in terms of any good work done by genuine mediums or channels.

Although I do admit that poor standards in Mediumship exist and as such spirit communication is something that should always be taken with total responsibility when it is public facing.

A real shame that the intent of the show seemed to be aimed purely to entertain and thrill! But then such is the medium of television.

Entertaining?....maybe. Thrill?.... only if you are a sadist. Shows like this should be banned due to their nature. If anyone is looking for a sure-fire way to do some serious psionic damage, do BS like this.

Pplz wonder why there are so many skeptics, when con-artists like this are around. grrrr.... where is justice when you need it?
