Ive heard that the mark of the beast could be barcodes,pick up anything and it has a barcode and notice 3 sets of double lines left middle and right,i also heard that they translate as 666 on computers, or scanners or whatever

Actually, according to http://www.conspiracyarchive.com  the mark of the beast may be a microchip implant.  These seem to be coming slowly into use in higher society.  There was some reference to the bible about it, something about not being able to buy or sell without the mark.  That means no more currency and the fully electronic money.  Not a nice prospect.  Things like national ID and databases on people including their fingerprints, retina scans, face scans, etc.  The MotB, would most likely be a chip.  I personally don't want a GPS under my skin where everyone with a scanner can figure out who I am and where I am.  Privacy goes waaaaaaaaayyyyy out the window.

Some prototypes of implants ar already out, you can put your medical record in it in case you have an accident. The one that Andali27 is talking about is already made and it features this GPS system in it, ''E-money'' and can monitor some of the health problem a person may have. Personaly, I really don't need this kind of thing! But you know how they will try to sell it with all ''the benefits'' that it will bring to society such as: less crimes, easy to find a lost person (your children!), etc.

The company having the label on the product is Digital Angel and they, supposedly, said that they will not go on with the project but we never know; they may change their decision.

An ID card and the internet can do that easily. If you're in a car, they can find the car owner, who will know or be you.

E-money... The government already knows too much about my money, and they take more out every time I use it. Do you want to pay tax when the neighbor's kid mowes your lawn?

Criminals like me will refuse it. My main protection from stupid laws is I dont cause people a problem, like when I drive fast or... I refuse to give the government a constant way to test for certain things in my blood. If you hate traffic light cameras, you'll hate even more their knowledge of exactly how fast you're going and if you come to a complete stop at all stop signs too, even on a deserted road.

When this implant is required by law, and they try to force it on me, I will defend myself against their doctor's knife the same way I would defend against anybody else attacking me with a knife. I will kill in self defense if necessary.

It made me think that this may be a reality sooner than we think when I got my fingerprints from both hands recorded entering the United States last month. But it may not happen for a while worldwide.

It is really based on building a prison around a person in small layers. At first it seems harmless, but one by one our personal freedoms will become more and more vulnerable. I think it's a natural consequence of the information age. It is all being put into place subconsciously though. Society already has an amazing amount of power over us without microchips.

patapouf is right in the fact that people will be using microchips voluntarily because of convenience. I think they almost have as many advantages as disadvantages, but if placed in the wrong hands then all hell could break loose. Nonetheless if things do get as crazy as some people think I will definitely rebel against the system because I don't even have much tolerance for the law as it stands today.

And just to confuse them, and prevent them from proving I had it at any one time, I'll leave it in other peoples' cars or let them carry it a few random times. Or maybe I'll remove its watch-battery when I dont want them to track me. I dont think todays GPS tracks its receivers, but when they do, there will be signal scrambling devices.

If nobody is much negatively affected by you breaking the law, theres no reason for you to be punished, even if there is a stupid law against it. The law exists to protect us from each other, not to arbitrarily define behavior. I'll fight the government trying to impose restrictions that allow them to check such law breakings. The original USA constitution (minus the slavery etc) agrees with me. It sucks the document of law I respect most is critically flawed (slavery), and the others are far worse.

Beavis I agree with you. Why have they bothered creating laws that go beyond protecting us from each others behaviour I'll never know.

Murder, theft, abuse/rape etc I will understand-you have to guard against and punish. Never in question. But many other concepts that are legislated-including what substances to alter my mind I'm allowed to use is just moralist dictatorial style pap.  Hope they grow out of it somehow-even if it's to raise extra tax .

Actually, you can convert www to 666, cause it's the sixth letter in some israel alphabet or something and then in english it's the 22 or something and then there's this multiplying elimination thingie and you get 6 or whatever, I dunno.  I found it in a book.  Just a thought.

The beast is probably a metaphor, this ''system'' you live in owns everything and to be coded or being implanted means that you are being part of it (it ''owns'' you) and this means you are marked like a grocery product having a serial code number.....

Yes that's right. And in Christian terms this is apparently the same as joining the side of the devil, whereas to join the side of God you would have to reject the system and become a martyr (as commonly stereotyped in many movies).

A deeper interpretation would be that you surrender your soul [will] to the system for supreme control. "Selling your soul to the devil", so to speak.
