The source of the stones seem reasonable enough, but..

QuoteThe discovery comes a year after scientists proved that the remains of a "band of brothers" found near Stonehenge were Welshmen who transported the stones.

What a load of bull. Their 'proof' is that the guys lived around the same time Stonehenge's creation has been projected to have been (though that projection is in itself unproven) and that they all grew up around the types of rocks Stonehenge consists of. Obviously not something that would hold up in court, but yet it's apparently good enough for the scientific community.

QuoteDiscovered at Boscombe Down and dating back to the beginning of the Bronze Age - around 2,300 BC – the men appear to have been alive during the period when many of Stonehenge's vast megaliths were brought from Wales.

It is this, coupled with the results of tests on the men's teeth that show they were almost certainly born in Wales, that has led experts from Wessex Archaeology to suggest these men were engaged in building Stonehenge.

Yep! They were alive back when we're guessing Stonehenge was built, and they were definitely from Wales, so therefore they must have built Stonehenge!

I don't see how these guys get off pushing such bullcrap as if it were credible. From the size of the stones at Stonehenge, how far away that quarry is, and how complex the geometry was behind the arrangements of stone, I would say there was something a little more organized behind it's construction anyway. These guys have just lost touch.
What is the sound of no leaves cloving?

When I first saw stonehenge I couldn't even speak, my jaw dropped in my lap.    It really is an awsome sight.  Such a terrible shame it's fenced off.

It has to be these days, in order to protect it, as so many people were walking over it and groping it that the stones were being worn away.

You have to be cruel to be kind sometimes!
