Apparently, we now have the option to buy an environmentally friendly substitute for those little plastic forks, knives, etc...   What's the big deal?  It's made out of POTATOES

The cutlery is reusable and dishwasher safe, yet it will bio-degrade in just 180 days or so.

and yes, I checked....    they do have sporks.

I think the acid in our stomach would digest them a lot faster than 180 days. Bio-degradeable is in the outside environment.
