Here is Steven Colbert's message to ET, via the WOW signal tweets sponsored by the Nation Geographic show 'Chasing Aliens". I found the show itself took too much of a "Ghost Hunter" approach for my liking. They even 'whisper" in the nighttime portions of the show for some reason. It's almost like they are "sneaking up" on the UFOs. That makes no sense whatsoever. I found that they 'sensationalize" things a bit too much for my liking. But I wish them success with their show, at least they are making an attempt to open people's eyes to the truth. I just wish it was a bit more credible and less hokey.
Anyways the Steven Colbert video is hilarious. Enjoy!  :-)

This is always the great contradiction with these shows for me. And it gets me asking if they really do (or even want to) open people's minds at all? If you make something like this in a 1. sensationalist and b. ridiculous / ridiculing way, well, for me it is like you do the opposite.

Sometimes I feel that's their true purpose. To make a joke out it. But in this case, I don't think that applies. They did have a lot of good info and reliable sources, its just I feel they were fighting to be a little "too" entertaining. They were obviously pandering to the younger crowd. All the "ghost hunter" shows on TV have been successful with this methodology.
