Hmm, sounds like he walked into something heavy there.  Almost sounds like the portals that I have seen before.  Watery, hanging in the air.  The area behind looks like if their was intense heat, but it was on a very cold day.

Hmm.  I always had a feeling that these were products of the astral connecting with the physical.  Little tears in reality.  I really wish I could have entered it, but it was much higher then me.

Still this rasies the question.  Could something from the astral come to the physical from these portals?  It would be a scary though, their are a lot of things that are certainly powerful beings.  One of them getting out and having that sort of power I could only imagine the destruction.

I will destroy Naraku with this Tessiaga! - Inuyasha, Inu-yasha

Fascinating read.

The portal is really intriguing.  I've seen them before too.  When I've had OBEs.  The way I described them at the time was the same - like when heat on a summer day distorts the atmosphere and makes it all shimmery.

Some of it is a bit suspect though.  Finding that pile of dung and not taking a sample?  I mean, he is in a truck and he can't find anything to put a bit of poo in?  Seriously?  Even giving him the benefit of the doubt, why on earth didn't he go back with something and take a sample.

And what about the nest?  He drove back up there with his digital camera to take some pictures and there was a locked gate, and he didn't have time to walk it?  Is he for real?  And he still hasn't been back!

What about in 1998 when he finds the branches.  It takes him 3 years (3 years!) to go back there with his camera, only to find that he can't locate the place.

And what about the Club he takes home.  He is now very familiar with Bigfoot and the mystery surrounding it.  He must know that this could be evidence.  And what does he do with it?  He puts his paws all over it so it can't be used.  Why?  Is he just plain stupid or something?

Great story though - I'll probably have nightmares tonight...

We all find nonsenses to believe in; it's part of being alive.

A lot of things about Bigfoot makes no sense. I've spoken with many people on the subject; some of them have even had encounters with Bigfoot. I was surprised at how many of them passed up the chance to collect evidence. Footprints, hairs, scat, etc...

And the evidence that is collected proves to be nothing. Hairs that match no known animal, parasites not found in any other animal's scat, track casts with dermal ridges, sweat pores and scars. It all amounts to nothing since there's no Bigfoot-- alive or dead-- to compare it all to.

If I were to ever see one of those portals, I'd flip out.

I was first told the "astral bigfoot" theory after I had shared with a friend an experience I had in which a male animal spirit entered my dream and  told me that Bigfoot, the Werewolf, and Pan were all him, just in different forms.

He said he was the old god of the wild creatures of the forest.

In which case I can understand why he would want to confront and scare the p*ss out of this hunter, repeatedly chasing him out of the woods.

Notice the first time bigfoot chose to show himself.
Quote"This created a bottleneck that forced traveling white tails to follow the fence line and was an excellent place to set up an ambush."
Not exactly a fair hunt is it?

QuoteI felt the familiar 'don't come over here' sensation....I'm thoroughly tired of being chased out of the woods by Mr. Foot
Maybe he doesn't like @ssh*les trampling around his woods armed to the teeth with highpowered rifles and lazer scopes.

QuoteI heard a whispered "Gotcha" over my right shoulder.
If he'd wanted to kill him he'd be dead already. He was giving him back a taste of his own.
