If this is allowed to go much farther by the masses of completely stupid US citizens after what we were supposed to learn after WW2, I'm going to ticked. Seriously. Looks like Thomas Jefferson was on the right track when he said we'd likely need another revolution every 20 years to keep our system as pure as it was right after our first revolution. Some time after the Civil War, I guess people just stopped caring. We're lonnng overdue.

I find it amazing that no matter what my opinion is about Bush or the current situation, it is not valid, as there is no way to discern truth in this situation. America has been infected with something far more dangerous and subtle than people realize. I know something's wrong, even if I don't know exactly what it is.

I do think that Bush is an evil man and I think that what he is doing is horrendous. He is no better than Hitler. In his time, Hitler managed to pass himself off as the sensible and logical one to the people of Germany. The same thing is happening here, as far as I am able to tell.

The energies that I am feeling are telling me that America will end soon, no matter who wins. Bush has already done too much damage, and now it's too late. The ignorant will panic. The intelligent won't wait around for it to take place. And we owe it all to Bush because of his arrogance, greed, and stupidity.

But don't worry, because those very things will destroy those responsible for making hell on earth a reality. In a sense, they will destroy themselves, ignorant as they are.

I just hope I get out of this country before it all happens. I could see the whole world going to war with the U.S. as a reality. It wouldn't surprise me.

Berserk_Exodus

Numerous atrocities have been committed by numerous political regimes in the USA, people just tend to be near-sighted in this country when it comes to politics.  The Middle East has been culminating violence and strife since the British Empire.

Think Kerry will be your personal savior?  I think not.  There's no way out now.  We've got a leg stuck in quicksand.  Kerry is perfectly willing to do war just as Bush is, and I wonder, once the public sees that Kerry is just as willing or moreso to commit Fascist acts, how will the people of America react when they lose faith in government?  This is a new era, Americans will not roll over, and I will not.

I agree. I am, at heart, an anarchist, because all forms of gorernment ultimately become corrupt. The real problem today is the corporations. They own pretty much everything, and they have far too much power. They even have their own private justice systems which exist outside of the power of the State. We need to do away with things like NAFTA and the WTO. Corporate self-interest is getting people killed in very horrible ways, and it is destroying the environment. The ghoulish individuals who run the corporations don't care though, they just want to feed on the life force of ordinary people. Ultimately, they are evil. They might argue that it's just business, but it's really evil. Ultimately, they fear death (and therefore they will draw it to them). They seek to become immortal in some way. THEY are the ones who are really behind all this genocide. I highly suspect that most of the corruption in the government comes from them. They have been for a very long time. America was corrupt long before the Industrial Revolution, but the government gave power to these corporations. No laws are ever repealed. The beauty of it all, though, is that nobody actually owns a U.S. dollar. Not even the government can own one dollar, because it was made by the Federal Reserve, and the government only rents that currency from them. The Federal Reserve charges interest on all the money they print. This means that one day the U.S. will have to return the borrowed money, and will have to also pay the interest, an amount of money that does not even exist and cannot exist. Those who are using their corporations to get rich are the most ignorant people of all. They will find that when it's time to pay back the Federal Reserve, they're going to be left with a whole lot of nothing, and less than nothing.

It will be very interesting to see what happens next. It's nice to have ESP, because I can see these things coming before they happen. I think Europe will be safe for awhile.

It's amazing how much of Sun Tzu's The Art of War Bush isn't following. He's leaving troops over there for extended periods of time, which wears them down. He also is very eager to go to war, which is a sign of weakness. THe best way to win a war is to not have to fight it at all.

The thing about the wealthy republicans is that they have lost all touch with reality. They need to come back down to earth and stop living in the illusions they have built for themselves (which they made out of fear).

I think the ignorant and the deluded are in for a rude awakening. I think we may be at the end of times, but who knows. That could mean anything from the end of an era to the end of the world.

I think America will see the violence that is headed its way. It's unfortunate, but there's nothing anyone can do to stop it now.

I would still rather see Kerry win this election than Bush. He is at least more intelligent, which is always a plus.

My suggestion is that if we want to change the world, we're going to have to start doing some things for free. Develop skills you can take with you anywhere, and have some knowledge of what to do when technology fails. Don't be like an NYC resident and leave just because the power goes out. Find a way to survive.

I wish.

With Bush being relected (which never should have happened but ppl are brainwashed by the media now adays) I honestly think that we will have a 3rd World War or at least a Civil War in the next 5 years or so.

Its ridicouls how dividied our country is. And we can't do much about it, especially with a two party system. Im feeling bad things for the future.

BTW, Any of you guys know or hear about John Titor? He his a self proclaimed Time Traveler and said he came hear from the year 2000.

Anyways, some of his "predections" about are future and whatnot actually seem realistic and wouldnt be suprised if some of the stuff came true. Especially with Bush being relected.

Check out www.johntitor.com or Google John Titor for info.

While a revolution might seem like a good idea, there are simply too many safeguards built into the system (One of them is FEMA).

Here in Europe we are pretty much headed where you are (the NWO), particularly if the new EU constitution gets accepted by the people. But so far, Europe is not divided like your nation is. It is to the benefit of those REALLY in power that your nation is as divided as it is. It directs attention away from them. Divide and conquer.

If you aren't meant to stay here forever, which one is the most important, changing yourself, or changing the world ?

You can change yourself, but you can't change the world fundamentally.

History repeats itself, again, and again.

The Roman Empire, The British Empire, The German Empire, they are just faded pages in a book.

What will become of the American Empire ?

2000 is four years in the past. I came here from the 2000, with a few years in between. How does time traveling from the past give one information about the future, assuming it is even possible?
Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen, that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way.

Van-Stolin

It was a few years before 2000 that the information came up, it was also that he was from an alternate future, though I don't believe in that.  If he was a time travler than it would be from this time only as all things happen at once.  He would have to have built a dementional transporter to co to anthoer time line.  I think it was some guy that watched to much DBZ.

A bureaucracy is not fascism. A system is only as good as the quality of persons who contributes to it. A collective mindset is not a government's fault. It's the people who are the problem. US society has been having increasing numbers drawn into greedy, self indulgent, self serving gluttenous behavior.Their busy protecting and expanding their interests. All the while, criminal and immoral  behavior and action are flourishing through the laws and legal decisions. These are judicial and legislation downfalls. The more the protection the lesser the freedom. The people seem to be choosing more restrictions for the purpose of protecting their materialistic little empires from the "have nots"(not the criminals). Believe me, this has nothing to do with government or it's policies. It's a race to see who can pillage the most for their own gain. Both  criminals and elitists are disgusting to me.The government is being used by the people, not the other way around.

There are a lot of good people in America. They are preyed upon by fear mongers from the liberal left (called moderate democrats now) and other special interest groups. The media feeds a lot of info out for these group's purposes.

The guy clamied that he came from an alternate future. A different time line persey. So when it was the year 2000 in our time, it was the year 2036 on his time line. So he was giving us information from his time line. Yet he did say that our time period would follow his. Many things can change.

Now I dont necessarily belive him word for word but there is some realism in what he's saying and wouldn't be suprised if some of his thoguhts, insights, predections, from the future would come true at all

OK this real scaring me... I don't want to die as a kid. I'm only 13 and your saying that a 3rd world war is going to come and destroy us all? This is scaring me in a serious way. I don't want want myself or anyone else to die in this world.....
Do we really think our own thoughts, or the are the thoughts that we have others thoughts sliped to us?

There is nothing to be scared about.

You are not your body. You are a spirit inside a body. The spirit is able to operate independently of the body. Try having some Out-Of-Body experiences. At the very least, they will help alleviate your fears.

What would be scary is if you never got a chance to realize what was going on around you, and it all came as some horrific surprise when you turn on the TV one morning to see that Russian warheads are heading towards your city. At least here you're being given the opportunity to take this scenario into consideration and help prepare yourself, should you decide it's something worth preparing for. Not everyone will die if this happens. You can survive easily if you know how.

Russian? Now that's something to think about. I doubt they'd actually be Russian, although I suppose you could say they're Russian because they're most likely going to be Russian-made, then sold all over the place when the Soviet Union was dissolved.

I've got some thoughts on this topic (not the warheads, but the overall topic) that I'm slowly formulating and I'll probably start a new thread soonish.
P.S. This is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.

Hello Wisp

It sounds to me like you come from a conservative viewpoint. I am an anarchist myself, because I have seen all forms of government fail. This does not mean that I believe everyone should not have a government, just that I don't need one. I'm not calling myself special or better than anyone else. I have just as many weaknesses. However, I feel that, on the whole, the government is only helping to perpetuate human weakness. The reason is that the government isn't really in power anymore. Corporations are the force that is now running this country, and they do not have the best interests of humanity or the environment in mind.

You sound intelligent. I would like to hear more about the conservative viewpoint from you. I have talked to a lot of other conservatives, but every time I express my viewpoints to them, they jump to conclusions, i.e. I am for a woman's right to choose. I am pro-choice. Most of the time, the response I get is, with a look of disdain, "You're pro-abortion?!" At which point, I have a hard time trying to distinguish for them the difference between PRO CHOICE and PRO ABORTION. The two are NOT the same. I support a woman's right to CHOOSE. I do not support abortion in and of itself.

Anyway, I would like to hear more of what you have to say. THis country certainly is divided, and the only way to bring it back together is through understanding, not disdain and judgement.

I don't think that anyone is trying to scare you. I myself am saying that I belive that their will most likley be a war within the next 10 years. Am I necessarily right? No. But that's my opinion. I am young myself, only 17, and I don't want a war either. But it's inevitable. Some people will never learn. You just can't worry about it.

Asfor people dying, I'm sure a lot of people would prefer too be dead or wouldnt care if they died so you don't have to worry about it

What Titor said was that he was from 2034 if I'm not mistaken, and that what happened was there was a problem with computers they were using and dates (similar to y2k, except hitting trouble around 2036'ish). Titor was sent back to get a computer no longer in production that had the ability to read the computer language and fix it. The specifics on that are given by Titor himself; I didn't understand them and as a result don't remember them, but it all seemed solid provided that time travel is possible. He also mentioned mathematicians/physicists (whatever you'd call them) that are working on time travel theories today, and that Hawking would take back one of his theories that contradicted what Titor said. Hawking did in fact recently take back one of his theories as Titor said he would, and the other guys he mentioned are still working in their fields as far as I know. These are again mentioned in greater detail on the 'official' Titor site.

What he meant by different wordline was that if something changed as a result of him coming back, it wouldn't affect him apparently but it would affect our future as our future would deviate somewhat from his, potentially. Therefore from our point of view it's still possible to avoid all the things he tells us about, but unlikely at this point.

Does anyone here trust what they see on the news? I don't. I don't trust any newspaper, television program, or website. I believe that whatever anyone does can and will be used against them. I happen to work in a book store, which holds weekly author events which entail authors talking about their books, etc. I saw many famous authors speak, some of which were slandered by the mass media. In my opinion, everyone is working towards their own agenda, and that is why the turmoil will continue. Each is too stubborn to budge even the slightest bit- and why should they? We all have a right to act upon our beliefs. The trouble is that each wants everyone to follow their agenda and no one else's. I wouldn't necessarily call what is going on in the world a conspiracy, more like the calling for a very rude awakening to a lot of very ignorant people.

Whose fault is it? It doesn't matter much at this point. What matters is that whoever is at fault opens their minds to other possibilities and viewpoints, rather than people like Bush, who believes he doesn't owe anybody any explanation for what he says or does. Downright foolish, in my opinion. Bush, if this post ever reaches you, you are the leader of a nation and statements like that only show your unworthiness to be in such a position of power. If you lead a people, you MUST communicate with them, and you MUST offer them an explanation. Otherwise, people like myself will turn their backs on you. You owe us a lot more than just an explanation. You owe us the freedoms you stole from us, a confession for every lie you have ever told the very people you are supposedly leading, and you owe us the chance to be heard. What say you to that?

slernman

A war that can destroy everything would have to be a nuclear war. A nuclear war would have to be wage by superpowers. I don't think the world will collapse from weapons, but rather the people of the world will destroy it. A world revolt just doesn't happen in 30 years, but will take a very long time to reach the entire world. And by reaching the whole world I mean the small village in Indonesia that won't be harmed, so if anyone wants to live just retreat from civilization and you will be safe.

I'm a blue blooded liberal through and through and I was really disappointed to see Bush reelected, but it was bound to happen. The US people ARE brainwashed by the media. I don't know about fascism, but Bush's government is pretty manipulative. Just to all out there in the rest of the world, most of us didn't want to go to war either, at least not without UN approval. I do think we're overdue for a revolution. Politics have just gotten to competitive. It doesn't seem like anyone wants to do anything for the people anymore. Maybe I'll run, if a WW3 can be held off long enough for me to graduate.
