The Title says it all. While watching an object in space via his telescope. Elijah Prychodzko caught this strange explosion. As usual the experts were no help in understanding what it was.

On another note, there have been quite a few strange things reported in the sky in the past year. Many of these sightings have been reported on the Nightly news as well. That is a tremendous change from the past when any kind of UFO report received no media attention at all.

Do a search through the YouTube videos on UFO or strange objects reported in the sky and you will see what I mean. Most commentators take a comical approach to this though. It would hurt their reputations for them to report this with sincerity.  :-P

Nice. Not your average 'light in the sky'.

It's great once you screen out that idiot hosting it.  :-D

More of an implosion than an explosion. Problem with these videos is that with modern editing software, it's possible to fake anything these days, so any UFO video, ghost photos, crop circle videos, they can all easily be faked. The internet is full of hoaxes. This one looks genuine though, because why would anyone fake this?! Weird.

That is very true. You have to base it upon the character claiming it to be true footage and he doesn't look like he's lying. Also... like you said... it's crap enough to be true in terms of not looking clear and WHY?

Why dis you say implosion though? an implosion would make it disappear into the centre. Like being sucked inwards... lots of particles expanding away from the centre denotes 'explosion'.

Just doesn't look like an explosion, looks more like it disintegrated.  Hard to tell because we don't see it actually happening. But if the scale of the before and after shots is the same, then there was hardly any change in size after the event. Would expect to see more expansion, bits flying out. But I don't see that. More of a disintegration than an implosion or explosion, to me. It looks like one of those magic tricks where they make a ball of rice paper disintegrate in a flash of flames.

Yes I agree that the guy looks genuine. That's largely what I based my opinion on, that and as you say, why?

I made loads of 'flash paper' once. Nearly set the apartment on fire.

C'mon, you can read the chart... it's not batman, it's a weather balloon.

What is funny is that out of all the UFO footages that have been called out as a weather balloon.. this one actually fits the bill more than any.

Weather balloon it is I reckon.
