Last night?

That's some weird stuff. lol
Kinda has a feeling of someone testing new holographic technology or something. LoL
Turned out to be a russian missile. Unofficial sources from the military. And apparently, it wasn't the first time.

Geez, the reality of unexplained situations always ruins the fun!
How the hell can a missile create that spiral pattern, uhh more lies to the masses.
What is it that exactly gives the military any sort of credibility? Have they deserved to be naively trusted? No, not in my opinion. And from my research they have been blatant liars all the way through the last 100 years and have every reason to do so in their system of classified secrecy.
I've remote viewed this vortex myself and I KNOW that this is some sort of tunnel artificially created by either the human-elite or extraterrestrials who are based in that area, I can't say for sure but I had the feeling that it was ET's hand (grey type), again.
peace
ok that video was already posted
and here's another very similar sighting http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGrbdlfnFJg&feature=player_embedded - and that was in California 6 months ago. No Russian missiles to blame there.
I'm still confused. It seems to be a vortex, but I wouldn't think it's necessary for a craft to pick up speed before entering a vortex. Maybe I'm wrong. And the fact that these objects are spiraling incoherently seems clumsy for a modern plasma craft. Perhaps some human organizations are tampering with hyper-space
The first time I saw this I asked myself- did they fix the Hadron collider? But now I'm as perplexed as I started out- because California isn't really close to any of those places.
:?
*scratches head*
I agree that world militaries are hardly a credible source- their track record speaks for itself.
Perhaps it was indeed a missile, but it is an astonishingly odd display, and I would want to see other footage and photos from similar missiles before I considered the possibility. I have never know a missile to leave such a pattern...
They posted an explanation for it.
Basically, the missle would spin around releasing fumes of some kind which cause the trail and the spiral.
The spiral is noticed because you're looking at it head on...
Now... I don't buy that for a second.
I find it very hard to believe that it would last 10 - 15 MINUTES if that was the case.
In any case, the Russians even deny the missle test in the first place... but then, I guess we can't trust anyone. lol
I've shot off bottle rockets with odd tails that spiral like that.
The other thing I thought of was the light shining up at it was coming from a projector and was projecting the image onto clouds, kinda like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X85A1dCpzsI
Hmm EISCAT is nearby, they problaby blasted the ethers with a cople of gigawatts and tore up the spacetime continuum
http://eiscat.com/
I don't know what caused that thing but I know for sure that it wasn't just a rocket that malfunctioned. I'm not believing that BS for a second.
As I was watching the three separate instances of this happening (one in Cali, one in Sweden, and another one someone posted somewhere (I have lost count) three things occurred to me:
1- If it's a malfunctioning rocket, it seems to malfunction the same way. That's 'weird', you'd think there'd be 'other' ways a missile would malfunction-
2- The doohickey thingie that comes out of the 'whirpool' thingie seems to be some sort of booster thing, meaning that it has 'stages', like a shuttle-
3-It seems to do the spiral thingie- even if it's a failed military experimental gizmo, it seems to be made to do something to one point in space, and to open something, reminding me of wormholes or stargates or something like that. It doesn't look like a 'mistake', maybe it didn't do what it's supposed completely, but the spiral thingie seems 'pat'- like it's designed to do that.
Whatever it is, it sure looks pretty, like a flower or one of those 'hypno' vortexes that used to be in the backs of comic books when I was a kid.
:?
I'll take number 3, CFT. It definitely looks like an interdimensional wormhole to me, probably used for a ship or a satelite, or perhaps even a rocket.
It makes sense that if a missile malfunctioned, that one possible mode of failure would be to spiral- if the the missile takes anything less than thrust on a near perfect line through its center of gravity, or loses rotational stability through damage to a fin, etc., it should indeed spiral in spiral in such a gyre, from the off-center torque-moment forces.
That said, the effect does in fact appear intentional. What they were trying to test is anyone's guess. Rule number one of any government action is do what you want, until someone sees you doing it. Then think of the most plausible-sounding excuse, that will cause the least trouble to you in the future- sometimes that happens to be the truth, and sometimes not.
Maybe they wanted to see what people say about it.
I wonder how we did?
I know people don't want to believe the missile theory, but here's another look at it:
http://gizmodo.com/5422792/this-is-how-the-mysterious-giant-spiral-happened
I'm an occams razor kinda guy.
I saw that video the day CFT posted the original link.
It convinced me for a few seconds, then for some reason some other processes kicked in in my noggin and I didn't buy it anymore.
I think they're trying to make evidence fit the description... and they're trying too hard.
I dunno, I guess Mr Occam might be right, who knows. ;)
Well, I don't know if it was Hey-Zeus or Thor, or a missile, but it sure was pretty.
Anyway.
That's what I thought - it was like watching fireworks, with the "oohs" and "aahs", but without the "I think we should leave before the finale so we don't have to sit in traffic".

Sure it's more simple to say a Russian missile showed up in Norway and California and other places and spiraled out of control each time, but isn't that painfully stupid?

"It was pretty"... I can fully agree with that statement. :)

Right now it's the most plausible theory. "Interdimensional Vortex" seems much more imaginative driven than a missile, but if that's proven to be the case, so be it (how would one know what one looks like, as if they've been around before). But in my lifetime rockets have misfired many times, whereas this would be the first "supernatural", beyond-physical thing. So I don't see it as being stupid, but plausible until something better or more provable comes along. Then Mr. Occam will check that one out.
I'm not saying "THIS WAS A MISSILE!", but I'm not saying it wasn't... yet. If more of these things start showing up in other parts of the world then we'll have more to go by. Outside of "missile", the only theories I've heard have to do with UFO's and vortex's.
Hmm...I personally don't believe for a second that they were rockets, however I'm with Stookie in that we can't for sure say it wasn't, for sure say it was, or for sure say anything right now  Whether missile malfunction or vortex, it's definitely puurrtty :-o
Here's David Wilcock's view on the Norway Spiral.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XM137ZEHKPk&feature=related
David Wilcock's ideas are so wild... if he's *ever* right, this will be a very strange world changing event. LoL
This was written last October and sounds very similar in description:
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/news/science/Scientists-create-artificial-ionosphere-using-radio-waves-/articleshow/5086874.cms
From Stookie's article:
QuoteBut in February last year, HAARP managed to induce a strange bull's-eye pattern in the night sky.
Instead of the expected fuzzy, doughnut-shaped blob, surprising irregular luminescent bands radiated out from the centre of the bull's-eye, according to Todd Pedersen, a research physicist at the US Air Force Research Laboratory in Massachusetts, who leads the team that ran the experiment at HAARP.
I am also not a fan of Wilcock- I too think his explanations are just too out-there and unbacked. That said, This article cites that that particular event had the same cause as the one Wilcock is citing this time- a local HAARP facility. Given the fact that they describe the event in Feburary in a strikingly similar way to one which just occured, there may indeed be something to the connection.
Who knows? :?  :-P 8-) :-o

Hahaha you sound like my parents when I watch fireworks! :D
I wonder what the News is saying about it. I've been away from TV for a while. I take it they're directing attention to the Norway 'missile' while excluding the other ones?
I just spoke with my mother who watches the news constantly. I asked if the Norway spiral was mentioned at all in the past couple of weeks and she said no.
It was in our Toronto Sun newspaper and on their website.
It was stated that it was most likely a Russian Missle gone awry.
Honestly I don't see how anybody could believe that was missile test gone wrong. And if it were to go on the news people would start asking questions...
From a "paranormal-skeptics" point of view... what they say is very believable.
Yea I guess your probably right.. Occam's razor, the simplest explanation tends to be the best one.
No, it tends to be the correct one.
The only news report I saw it on was the PBS news at the end of the broadcast. They showed some video and said the russian missile thing and then said "...or was it?". No joke.
But it quickly left the news because there's nothing new to report. If it weren't for this thread it would have quickly left my mind.
Haha  Gotta love PBS.

If that's the way you feel then you would be shocked to realize the true level of human apathy and ignorance.
It was on the news, they said it was a rocket, and everybody shut up about it. lol (Except on the internet, but damn it you can't believe that damn fool internet! Nothing but conspiracies conspiracies conspiracies shhh you shouldn't even get online anymore you know its too dangerous to your mental health!)
I was staying with a relative when it happened and it was all over the news, I remember. It was on FOX, and some other channels, can't remember whether it was CNN or MSNBC or what. But it was definitely on there.
Yea... it never ceases to amaze me, the level of human ignorance. For the most part people just don't care about anything if it doesn't concern them.

I wish that was the case really...
But humans tend to stick their noses in places where they don't belong all the time.

I understand what you're saying, but if people had to focus on things that don't affect them they wouldn't have time for the things that do actually affect them. If someone has the time and patience to research and study this thing, it's probably either their job or they're lucky to have extra time on their hands.
I do have time for another thought about it though: whatever it is, it probably can't be good for the atmosphere. Say if it's like HAARP, couldn't it damage the sky with all it's crazy ionizing-doohicky-sciency-stuff that I don't quite understand?
Or maybe it is somewhat related with the russian missile, because it was supposedly fired from a nuclear sub off the coast, and HAARP was supposedly designed to improve communications with underwater subs (along with other types of communication). Just throwing thoughts out there.
I'm gonna copy a part from something from a site which i believe that is the answer:
"[.....]Channeling on Recent Spiral Phenomenon Over Norway:
"Humanity is being prepared to face the reality that there are beings from other star systems here and engaging on Earth for their higher good. However, many of these beings are not what you would call, “human” in that they do not appear to function organismistically as humans do.
This will be quite disconcerting to the majority of your population. Thus, it is necessary to GRADUALLY accustom your people to the introduction of phenomenon which is “out of this world.” Have you noticed the relative “calm” surrounding this event? Consider that you are being psychologically prepared to interact with other species of beings whom are here to assist you in your rebuilding efforts in the wave of emergence as the ascension continues[.....]"
Source: http://lightworkers.org/channeling/95025/spiral-phenomenon-over-norway-i-am
Probably... But how can people be psychologically prepared when the facts remain hidden?
There's lots of ways- subliminally, subconsciously, and the slow and steady disclosure of ideas, not as much facts, as in 'what ifs'. Storytelling.
Considering of course, this is really happening, on purpose.
Liars don't suddenly stop lying when they decide you're ready to hear the truth. They just move on to the next lie. These predators will have you waiting for their 'disclosure' until you've completely submitted your will to them
It is partially a function of government to lie. It is part of how they sustain order, and sustain their own existence.

A LEGION OF DEVILS, HASTEN THINE EYES!
Congrats Stillwater! On Christmas of all days - that's something to celebrate. Well, that and the birth of Jesus. We've just sent out your prize: A t-shirt that says,
"I made 500 posts on the Astral Pulse forums and all I got was this lousy T-shirt".
Congrats, Stillwater.
See how easy it is to post something? lol
Come on, lurkers!

Thank you for posting that, Stookie. I've been following this quite a bit on other forums and what you just posted settles a number of issues pretty clearly. :)
Hey Stookie,
Is there a cole's notes version of that? LOL
*mind boggling* :)
Yeah, I don't understand all of it, but at least it's a little more scientific than yelling "interdimensional vortex!" and calling it a day.

They just calculate where it really was and how big it was, using photos taken from different directions and locations.
From that, everyone can draw their own conclusions again.
But one thing that it messes up about the failed rocket theory, is that while a failed rocket can explain the other trails leading to the spiral, the spiral itself was virtually flat and so if the 3rd stage of the rocket did that, it would have to be spinning in place the entire time.
I have read other articles talking about a HAARP-like installation that is only a few miles from where most of these photos were taken, and how exploding certain rockets in the upper atmosphere leads to a surplus or depletion of electrons, causing ionization that can be used by stations like EISCAT (see pic below).

So imo a rocket was involved, but the spiral itself was a separate phenomenon that resulted from a rocket ionizing the atmosphere there and EISCAT's stations taking advantage of it. There are articles out there explaining how EISCAT could create a plasma through ionized heating, and that the formation took the typical structure of this kind of plasma in formation, which is also the same as that of spiral galaxies. I don't have any links off hand but you could probably find them on Google.
Hmmmmm... more missile/HAARP connections...
Maybe it's test "shield" that can disable missiles before they detonate. Like a force field.
I found this today.
QuoteHappy "2010″ and Welcome to the Year of the Indigo! Last November brought in a powerful new energy cycle, one of which has left us staggering in its wake attempting to establish the personal inner and outer balance required to navigate this new terrain. What is happening right now in the multidimensional fields is such a humongous transition to our consciousness that any "words" to describe this event is entirely not adequate.
This year will be the first cycle of which this planet will begin to build and house the energy architecture that supports the Indigo Race consciousness and its group ascension mission. The Indigo races have been building braid by braid, brick by brick – the foundation that allows transduction and exchange of the 6D Indigo Light spectrums that also include the higher octaves of the Blue Ray consciousness. The Blue Ray consciousness, are also known as the Oraphim, are the cosmic parents of the Indigo races and are accessible and able to support the incarnated Indigo races now. These "Unity Field Blue Ray Races" have been recently introduced via 13th gate circuits reconnected into our planetary grid and its holographic matrix field. On December 9th we were actually able to see what a Stargate with a pulsing Blue Ray projecting outwards from its black hole center actually looks like in photograph and video captured over Norway. This Norway Spiral was hastily blamed on a failed Russian missile test, however my personal experience with the Turquoise Ray or "Blue Light" is of a completely different nature. (For details be sure to listen to the BBS Radio show "As You Wish" on 12/19/09 where James Gilliland and myself shared our direct personal experience and Guardian perspective on the Norway Spiral).
QuoteThese Stargates are access points (like wormholes) in the time space fields and they have never been opened as they are now. This is a part of the sequences of activation during the Galactic Consciousness Cycle that make available to this plane – frequency, dimensions, and entities that are beyond the seven solar planes of our 3D planet Earth. The Guardian perspective is that these "galactic" levels and where we are going have never been connected to this density before. We stand at the Threshold of the Unknown and are the courageous souls that are here to bring the unknown into physical embodiment. More phenomena will continue to occur and be documented this year, as the invisible is being made visible to us with increasing clarity. These open wormholes allow easy connection points between the human races in this 3D density and the multitude of races that exist in other dimensions. It will not be surprising to see increasing levels of "credible" extraterrestial contact finally being allowed to be reported in the mass media. It is just a matter of time.
