Title: Well I new it would happen! North Korea declares WAR. WW3 here it comes!
Post by: enlightnd on March 30, 2013, 04:16:05
Why can't they grow up and realise this isn't the way to solve problems by dropping bombs! UGH!

Just keep us Aussies out of it! We all need to put our thought together and seek help from higher sources to come down and make themselves known and stop this before it gets out of control, Which it will!

Don't worry, they have this little pain in the neck surrounded.

Why do you think those Stealth Bombers are flying over his head right now?

He is using the same tactic his Papa used for years.

He might just get in over his head though!

It is the sanctions. No one speaks about them, but the Sanctions the US and the UN have on North Korea are killing them- starving them trade and resources. North Korea has been amazing resilient all things considered.

The sanctions are what have driven them to this level of despairation. When they make their theats, in their minds they know that the real strategists know what they are reacting to.

Is North Korea mad? Yes. But western media also selectively paints a picture of a mad North Korea without telling the rest of the story, to make it easier to move on them when they finally lash out.

North Korea has always done and said this stuff, but I feel they must be giving it more press these days for a reason...

When North Korea strikes, they will view themselves as the heros who were strong enough to stand up to the evil empire. If people don't stop and ask themselves why North Korea would think this way, then yes, war is inevitable. If you don't treat your enemies as thinking, reasonable people who do things for a reason (even if you don't perceive it to be a good one), then enemies are all you can ever be.

I agree, They wouldn't be telling us anything even close to real story or reasons, I just think Obama is pushing the whole thing and wants them to retaliate so they can bomb the Fark out of them! But he might have deeper darker plans behind the whole thing and want it to go a lot further..

I guess time will tell pretty soon, NOT KEEN for nukes to be getting dropped anywhere on earth to be honest. so many innocent lives will be lost and not to mention the pollution and stress it will put on earth. I do no north korea has a lot of chemical weapons, Thats just as bad really.

This statement from today's new says it all.

"For months, the masterminds of North Korean propaganda have pinpointed this year's milestone Korean War anniversary as a prime time to play up Kim's military credibility as well as to push for a peace treaty. By creating the impression that a U.S. attack is imminent, the regime can foster a sense of national unity and encourage the people to rally around their new leader."
However, what North Korea really wants is legitimacy in the eyes of the U.S. — and a peace treaty. Pyongyang wants U.S. troops off Korean soil, and the bombs and rockets are more of an expensive, dangerous safety blanket than real firepower. They are the only real playing card North Korea has left, and the bait they hope will bring the Americans to the negotiating table.
"Tensions rise almost every year around the time the U.S.-South Korean drills take place, but as soon as those drills end, things go back to normal and people put those tensions behind them quite quickly," said Sung Hyun-sang, the South Korean president of a clothing maker operating in the North Korean border town of Kaesong. "I think and hope that this time won't be different."

Yes the US and UN have imposed severe sanctions against North Korea. But with good cause.

Do you want a nuclear capable North Korea, I don't?

At least they try diplomacy through sanctions instead of annihilation.

no, this is not true.

sanctions are targeting those who are the least culpable, the general normal people, not their leaders (in the open and background) who are in their bunkers and have lots of food reserves, sanctions are also an act of war against an entire people

The regime is to blame when they continue their policies. This is kindergarten 101 and we teach the principle behind the tactic to kids all the time. Right or wrong, I'm just saying.

Its quite a sad place to exist. The spending on armaments takes precedence over those who require a simple operation for cataract removal. A few US doctors have set up camps to help in this successfully. The patients were proud that their leader (the father) allowed this to happen. Anyone complaining of the political system was 'removed' never to be seen again.
Fear conditioning runs rampant in the regime.
A sad place indeed.

I will have to point out that the world's popular belief before WW2 towards the Nazis are almost identical to those of North Korea. Nobody believed Hitler would 'actually' do it... not really

Yes of course, when sanctions are targeted against a COUNTRY, it's the people that suffer.

The Leaders will not suffer at all. It's too bad they couldn't target the Leaders though.

Maybe a bit of empathy would be good them for a change.

They could feel the impact that the people do, everyday in their current situation.

Every penny there goes into building the Army, new technology and more munitions. Unfortunately not to the people that need it.

But what are you going to do, take him out, then what.

Then put billions that we don't have into rebuilding. The World is already financially strapped.

It's not an easy answer any way you look at it.

North Korea and its terrible regime was big-mouthed all the time, it is their 'mode' of conducting politics. They've done and said the things they do now before. It's just the Western war-hungry media who now hypes it again (maybe Syria and Iran do not really go ahead well now...)

Sanctions are killing people, folks, that's the sad thing. They do not help the people. They also did kill people in Iraq before the US and its allies invaded, and then of course with even more mass civilian casualties following...

Sanctions are a foreplay to begin or prepare an interventionist war again. Almost always. It's not the solution. Neither is war. Only talk and diplomacy can do. Some say that NK actually wants to enforce a peace treaty. I don't know, but why doesn't anybody try to talk to them. Instead, the US playing making war games with South Korea which is of course also a provocation for NK.

Again there's nothing to defend for this insane NK regime, but war is never a solution.

Well, Beedeekin mentioned the truth about nobody believing Hitler had the stones or was crazy enough and I'll mention the truth that war was the only answer in the case of WW 2. It's one thing to hoodwink your own people and enslave them through their gullibility but it's another ball of wax to invade sovereign nations and do the same and much, much worse.

I believe Volgerle is right as well about the western media playing this up as much as possible but we have to admit, it's extremely dangerous talk. If it wasn't reported, imagine the backlash afterwards peace or war. I would not want to be a politician because it's not always about who can marry who.

The sanctions were meant to put the squeeze on the people so they would revolt. The problem is this never works. When it's outside forces, the people unite with their governments until the hell of war. So you're right sanctions are just a prelude. No easy choices.

Barbaric suggestions are good for venting stress guys. They're also a damn good idea too lol.
Its such a pity that the leaders of many nations have little understanding for eachother.
If they could sit quietly and communicate the war requirement is removed. Greed gets into the equation too often and ego starts trouble.

Maybe a mass meditation for a peace treaty should be done.
That may be an action to prevent the waste of war.

Yes Szaxx, but it is also really important to identify our enemies, and up-hold the rights of the innocent.

after reading this article it clicked, i think he is going to try and take South Korea. oh i really hope he does not

North Korea has an agreement with China that if either country were to go to War the other would immediately Follow, thats why the top Countries in the world are trying to dumb it down, =/    not taking it seriously
