You could practuse Luzid Dreaming, which is easier to achieve. Stephen Laberge has some good books with techniques out. I tried them and they work. you should be able to LD within weeks. Then you could try to hold your Conciousness while waking up und thus inducing a OBE which is easier then to induce them from a waking state in my view.

I tried for several years with little results until recently. I think the main things that pushed me forward were using binaural beats (hemi-sync) and a strict schedule for practice - at least once a day, twice on most. The Monroe Institute Gateway CD's have been wonderful, but if you don't like spending that kind of money, the Brainwave Generator also did me some good (it's free).

I think that frustration is born out of a desire to astral project, so at least you have that.

First lay down. Relax your entire body. When you think its relaxed, relax it some more. The trick for me is to relax myself out of my body. Just keep relaxing every single muscle in your body. Try to deactivate every muscle. It wont take long to feel it coming but dont try and exit right away. Keep relaxing more, go deeper. You will feel paralysis and feel your body temperature drop.

Like I said, for me the key is relaxation.

I have spent 5 years trying... I have tried EVRY method... Trust me. I havent missed anything.

I know my friend has never astral projected yet he tells evryone he has, and he has infact fallin for his own lies... I am starting to think NO ONE! has ever astral projected and that it's not true... After 5 years you would think if it were true I would of got SOMTHING!

ok now listen, you have not answered my question. I can not help you when you do not answer the questions. LD is fairly easy, everybody can do it. You must have done something wrong. so tell my your technique. What time of the day did you try? etc.....

BTW: LD is a scientific proofen fact

Now are you aware of the fact that quite a few people believe there is NO real differenze between LD and OBE?!

So likely you are allready APing :roll:

However if you want to experience the transition from a waking state, try to keep your consciousness when the LD ends, then lay still don't move don't think, The vibrations might then start to kick in by themselfs.

If you've tried EVERYTHING and it didn't work, I say forget EVERYTHING and start back at the basics. First, Learn to relax your body. Don't try to AP yet - just take time to relax. Second, learn to stop your internal dialog. Practice these until you feel comfortable. Once you have these 2 things down, your ready to rock. If you can stop your internal dialog, getting your body asleep isn't too tough.

One last thing - do your exercises at the same time EVERY DAY. Get your mind and body into a pattern of relaxing on a daily basis, and don't break the schedule. I'd also say you might want to try NEW exercises throughout the day, but you've already tried everything.

I was trying for almost 10 years before I found a working method. After sticking with a daily pattern over a few months, I finally began getting results.
