Pulsating at back of head -Spirit communication?

fascinating!  I don't know the answer to your question, but whenever I am being "addressed" or passing near some paranormal energy, I get electricity on my right thigh and/or electric currents on the back of my neck, not pulsing or pressure.  like how i imagine a huge people magnet would feel applied to skin.  but when I am relaxed with eyes closed, any pictures I see just appear as if they are being pushed into view from the side, and often never appear directly in front.

I think it is medulla oblongata which is on the back,and pineal and pituian gland that form a triangle(functioning as 3.eye), i feel same sensation on the back of head and spreading to a same kinda little ball in the middle of head and then I concentrated for a long time on that little ball,
and it spread to forehead- and then the  forehead and back head,
started vibrating together and I after concentrating on that i
felt like i no longer have a head and energy is moving freely from
feet to little above the top of head- Crown chakra-
And I think that chakra which you mention 'bindu' is also somehow connected
but don't know- This thing about spirits is interesting

I just did a google search on "bindu chakra" and found lots of great information.

I guess I've got my explanation...
For some reason the chakra just likes to spontaneously activate on me. []

It's good to know that there's nothing I need to worry about, and that it a good thing that the chakra is this active... (At times it's had me concerned because the pulsating sensation has been quite strong and uncomfortable).

This has been happening to me on and off for years now, and I'm just curious as to whether others have experienced this. I'm actually a little surprised with myself that I've only now decided to ask about it -seeing as I've been with these forums for a long time.

Here's what happens:
Usually I'll be dreaming and then wake in a deep trance, already out of phase with my physical body (but still in my body), and there will be a strong pulsating sensation at the centre of the back of my head. It's like a mini racing heartbeat, and has almost an electric feel to it. It usually feels about the size of a marble (approx 1.5cm diameter).

Last night I experienced the above phenomenon and the sensation spread throughout my entire brain. (The localized pulsating continued at the back of my head while a tingly electric like feel spread throughout my brain... For a moment it almost felt like a heap of crawling spider legs or something). While this was happening I was watching a slide-show of portraits in my minds eye... One after the other an incredibly clear image of a person (unfamiliar) would appear and then change after about a second. They all looked very old (the images, not the people) Some looked like photographs, while others looked like they could be oil paintings.

Back to the topic...
I didn't prolong the above experience -just as with other times- because I've never been sure whether to treat the phenomenon as a positive or negative thing. All I know is that it feels weird, and only gets stronger if I try to project.
I've had quite a few OBEs before, so I'm aware that strange energetic sensations are a common effect, but the thing that intrigues me about this is the specific location... What could be so significant about the central point at the back of my head?

Hmm... well, I do have an idea of what it could be.
In "How to see & read the human aura" by "Judith Collins" the author talks about a chakra at the back of the head known as the "casual chakra" which supposedly becomes active when a spirit is trying to communicate with you.

Sounds interesting but I'm still not sure if this is what's happening to me – I haven't sensed that anyone/thing is trying to communicate with me (Although I could just be really good at ignoring them [])

I'm really interested as to whether other people here have experienced this. I thought that it would have already been talked about it here, but a forum search turned up negative.
