Gateway old version (7 cd's) vs. new version (6cd's)

Hello to everyone.

I have been meaning to ask this question as I am just starting the Gateway Experience old version (7 cd's).  

The new version I believe has removed cd 5 and 6 and kept cd 7 which is 6 in the new version and a new re modeled cd 5.  

Does anyone know why cd 5 and 6 was removed?  Is the new cd 5 (no time?) a better method.  Wouldn't the individuals with the new gateway series be missing valuable exercises from the older version?

Ahhh, I see now.... took a while to understand...hehe.

Now since Focus 15 is introduced into the new series would there be any reason to still do the previous waves that have only metamusic?
