Ah! I have found my entertainment for the rest of the evening!
Looks good enough, pretty obvious the writter/director is familiar with AP.
Asi, thanks man (or woman)! That was fun. It was a great piece and reminds me how I do love Japanese culture.
Lol.
Pretty funny how they use binaural-type beats throughout the whole soundtrack- definitely lends a sinister character to every scene.

Binarual-type beats? i didn't notice that.. :?
I'm going to watch it again plugged to the the surround system!
Yeah, in the episode you linked to, they had a steadily droning sound in every scene, pretty similar to the binaurals I have heard. When they were transitioning scenes, you could hear the sounds winding up or winding down, much like the programs would when they transitions to higher and lower frequencies. Pretty hard to miss, since it is often times louder than the dialogue, but I guess you could have thought of it as "ambience", lol.
I thought it was also funny how the three characters featured in the movie you linked to were pretty good caricatures of archetypal posters on this forum :-D
Stillwater, Thanks for bringing that up. I watched it with headphones and i must say it was an awesome experience.
And yeah, i bet every one of this forum members can identify with at least one of the main characters of the series.
I just have to bump the topic again :-P
Everyone must watch it sometimes it just amazes me on how direct is information presented here.By episode 5 they even tell about the Monroe Institute. The sound and art is AMAZING.
ghost hound huh, "This world we live in, the "Apparent World" had another counterpart since long before the cyber age. From ancient times, people referred to it as the "Unseen World."
Taro, Makoto and Masayuki are three junior high school boys who live in Suiten, a small town in a remote region of Northern Kyushu. Each one experienced a trauma in their childhood they could not erase. Because of this, or of other reasons, they all learned to traverse to the Unseen World, by slipping their souls.
Ghosts dwelling in the Unseen World, did never manifest in the Apparent World. However, the Unseen World was going through an adverse change.
And now, that change is starting to extend into the Apparent World..."
