  There ya go getting all defensive again.     Me, in a clique? LOL!!!  Please point this clique out, I wasn't aware I was in the club...just my luck, the last to know..   And as for the 4000+posts..well, I have been on this site for a few years and have loved almost every exchange, it's like a second home..not a clique..hehe.. I'm gonna be giggling about that one for awhile, as are others that know me well..  I never expect people nor do I wish the members to look up to me just because I have a lot of posts...

I would never dismiss anyone because they are new to the site.  I encourage it.  I'm sorry if you thought I was saying you could not speak of your experiences or your "expertise" I just wanted to make it very clear that just because one has a e-book out or a very large vocabulary it does not necessarily mean they have the only knowledge. 

Perhaps it is you and tvos that is in the clique, it was him that I was addressing.   I did not make my comment to upset you or others.  I will say it kinda sounds like you are the alpha female and doesn't care for another female speaking..lol.  I will let you and tvos have at it.

Quite the contrary... I wasnt talking about you specifically... its just that there seems to be an aire on this site that anyone new here doesn't feel welcomed, like we are thought of as having no knowledge etc, when this is not the truth. I have been on other sites, but even then I am not a big poster, I jump in when I think I might be able to contribute.  And as for my ebook, I almost never mention it, outside of the post I put in writers corner and its in my sig... but I dont wave it around to get attention.  And a good portion of it is my journal entries etc and some poetry I wrote that my OBEs inspired. 

I just felt my last post might 'lighten' the air so to speak, although it is true... we shouldnt take any of those things to judge a person, new, old, ebook, no ebook, moderator, not a moderator, high post count, low post count, etc... I could go on and on.  And by no means am I an alpha female lol.  I just want to feel like I can post here and make new friends without being attacked whenever I post.

Anyway can we please just get past this now??

LOL..no, we are going to discuss this and get to the bottom of it and perhaps learn from it.  I don't care for people saying things about my person..it was a sport a few months ago, and I won't have it again.  I assumed you were speaking of me personally because of this...

I'm the only one with that many posts, you're not the only one to bring it up...I have no idea why it bothers people, I've said more than once it doesn't matter the size of the posts or the number of posts.  Being a moderator I....moderate..lol.  Of course my post count is going to be higher. 

It does seem you are the only one claiming to not feel welcomed here, and I take it very personal that you have tagged me as a unwelcoming host.  I have a sneaky feeling that you have already formed an impression of me thanks to those "other sites".  Not much gets past me... I'm very anal and read forums in the morning like the paper.    Amazing what one can learn. 

I welcome you to the forums, I just hope when I give my opinion it is not shot down as well.  Funny thing about respecting each other, it works both ways.  I offer you a olive branch and hope we can start over and learn from each other.
