I found myself in a strange house. It was extravagant and had a deck that over looked a creek. I was laying on a coach next to a girl with my legs propped up on the other side. I then became aware that I was out of body. I then thought about connecting each of chakras one by one so I did. When I connected to her first chakra I felt the tips of her hair. When I connected my crown chakra with hers I felt a huge surge of energy rush threw my head. It was so intense I could hardly bear it. Next I connected the brow chakra and felt another strong surge of energy. After that I started to worry about how much energy I was sending the girl, because I didn't want to wake her up. After that I stopped and found her brother rushing in the room talking about how he talked to a spirit guide. He told me the name of the guide but I don't remember it. I told him that I was into astral projection and after that the girl woke up. Then all of a sudden we walked outside to the deck outside. Then I saw a mermaid. She asked how you talk to it. I said with energy. I then moved my hand and sent energy toward the mermaid. The mermaid showed up and asked me to speak my wish. Then asked the girl how would you like to be together? After that she said I have a boyfriend. So I asked if she could help me find someone in this life. Then the mermaid said that I will owe her a debt.
It would seem to me that what you experienced was the NPR, where thought = action and thus this series of events and characters (including the mermaid) were in fact manifestations as opposed to the events of a past life.
