How many people on here besides me use affirmations as their astral projection method? When do you use it?When going to bed in the morning or at night? And how many times do you say it to make it effective?

Awakened_Mind

There's no 'threshold of excitation' with affirmations to induce an OBE. No set amount. Affirmations are used to program the subconscious into having the experience so the more you say it, in a day the better it is. That doesn't mean sitting there going "I am going to project tonight. I am going to project tonight. I am going to project tonight" as fast as you can for an hour. When you say it, you have to mean it. Meaning is the true language of mind. So if you want to speak to the subconscious, you need to speak its language. I can't stress this enough.

Most people I'm guessing will say affirmations before they are going to attempt to project. This is either in the morning, setting their alarm clock an hour early so it's easier to hit trance, or at night before bed.

If I could explain it graphically, I'd say the success rate of OBE would increase with number of affirmations said during the day but the graph would at some point begin to plateau out.

Sometimes I use affirmations to have an OBE and/or a lucid dream.

When do you use it?

Throughout the entire day.

Before I go to bed at night and in the morning when I try and go back to sleep. I keep saying them in my mind until I fall asleep.

Just like Awakened_Mind said, the more you say it, the better. Usually, I say them every hour.

I have found that the best way is to keep it in your mind throughout the day, and then make the consious affirmation before you go to sleep at night. I find that this often results in an astral related experience, usually initiated by a lucid dream awakening at some point during the night.
