Spontanious Projection Control

What is your sleep patterns like?  I would suggest making sure you get PLENTY of rest, since a lot of spontaneous projections happen to people who are getting up a lot in the middle of the night, or to people who are light sleepers.

I don't know much about this, but perhap diet or eating habits could play a part in this?  Maybe by eating heavier foods before going to bed, most of your bodies energies will be devoted to digestion and not keeping you up.  Just a thought.

Hi David,
I think I might advise you.

I heard on a radio show that in order to control spontaneous projections you need to do more intentional projections ( sort of tell your body that projections
are to take place only under these circumstances and your command ).

It looks to me that your physical and astral dont cooperate and it is rather a strong will to split than a spontaneous takeover ( this split is caused by you and not by another factor ). You need to wholly understand ( or at least get and idea ) why your astral and physical bodies dont cooperate, maybe the astral doesnt like the physical world/ problems of it, maybe the physical body doesnt like the way your consciousness treats it etc.

I advise you to pay more attention to your physical body and think about
all the reasons why you (astral, mental, soul) *should* stay in the physical.
Make sure that when you retrain your body(s) you understand that projection is not bad, it only has to occur on command ( you might come to the conclusion that projection is bad, thus taking away your ability to project )

Two words, cainam:  SLEEPING PILL.

I'm all too familiar with the unwanted projection.  I started out this way, remember?  http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_wink.gif" border=0>  A GOOD SLEEP AID can give you the needed ZZZZZZZZZs, so you can be healthy.  Then you can learn to project at will.

Repeated uncontrolled projections can exhaust you, make you sleep-deprived, which in turn gives you more of what you don't want (i.e., more projections).

While you are doing your healing work, don't be afraid to ask your doctor for a decent prescription.  It can be a good, temporary fix that gives you the energy you need to heal your mind and fix your sleep and projection patterns.

   It's not that I think that projection is bad, actually I was working towards consious project for about a year.  However my recent trip to the hypnotherapist revealed that my mind splits too easily.  I do so without knowing.  In fact I projected while under hypnosis.  The way I figure it is that the only way I am going to be able to establish control is stop for a while or at the very least slow it down some.

   Did you ever have any problems with over sleep because of them?  Do they allow for "normal" sleep activity, dreams and such?  Or does it kinda turn off everything?  Did you find it problematic to work them into your schedual, since I know they usually require a certain amount of hours before doing certain activities when you wake up?

I have a question.  How can one stop spontanious project if they have absolutly no control over the process at all?  Are there physical world things that can be done to prevent a person from spontaniously projecting?
   I am willing to hear any and all possabilities.

 Now I know the first question is going to be why one would want to stop this.  So I am going to answer that now.  

   It has become very apparent to me that in order for me to grow mentally, spiritually, and emotionally I am going to need to spend some time in the physical during sleep.  It has also become very apparent that me willing or practicing to stay in the body is not possible, nor is it going to be possible for me to gain control over the projection process.  It seems that at the very moment that my body begins to slow and the mind becomes quite, I split.  I am relizing that I have become a very hard core spontanious projector.  As soon as the possability is there I project.  However I am unable to retain an information of the process, or rather it is more that I have been blocked off from retaining the information.  
   I see the only viable solution availible to me currently is to make an attempt to prevent this from happening so that my mind can stay where it is to deal with the problems there before I can advance further.
