Alright guys I think I almost got AP last night! Heres my story.

I went to bed last night and decided I wanted to try AP. Another user on the website said there should be absouluty no noises when you AP. Useally I sleep with the fan on but tonight I decided to turn it off in order to see if AP worked better for me. So I turned it off and the only noise I could hear was from my little sisters room and it was quiet pleasent music. I couldent really turn it off because she needed it to sleep. But I was lying down and I tried SilentlyBrokens116's balloon technique. I imagined balloons on my left arm and leg, and Books on my right arm and leg. My entire left side of my body became stiff after a while and so did my right side. But I did not AP.

My questions are: Should I turn off the music in my sisters room?
Was the stiffing part normal?

Also at first it felt like I wasent even going to feel the vibrations. But than after a little while the stiffness came.

Thanks for reading!

Noise is fine, as long as you can ignore the sounds.

Hallo clarkXkent
Different people handle distractions like noise in different manners. Personally I find it much easier to get out of body with as Few distractions as possible. So maybe you don't need to turn the music all the way off but should turn the volume down to a low level.

You are eventually going to have to ignore sounds and divert your attention away from your physical sense of hearing. It could be good or bad. I personally have never had a full fledged crisp phase with music playing in the background. You can interpret that as you wish.

I agree with you Contenteo. My Binaural Beats MP3 helps me to enter the Trance state, but I don't really "will" myself any further then that until the music stops and it is quiet again.

It all depends upon you that you can handle the little bit distraction or not.
