Anyone have experience with the work of Graham Nicholls?

I came across a, seemingly to me, fairly unknown projection author named Graham Nicholls.  I was wondering if anyone has read his works or used his audio aids or just know anything about him.

At first when I came across his page it seemed a little over marketed and honestly threw up a few scam warning red flags in my mind.  The only reason I stayed around was because of a book endorsement by Thomas Campbell.  Basically saying a nice book with real information in a genre with a lot of crap (paraphrasing but you get the idea.)  I don't agree with everything Campbell says but I do think he is genuine and not out to just make money.  I also don't think he would endorse a book unless he really believed in it.  I don't recall seeing him endorse very many.

Nicholls audio aid is about 32.50 pounds (So what 60 bucks or so) which is expensive but it is based not off of binaural beats but neuro-linguistic programming and claims to be able to get people to the vibration stage extremely quickly.  It is called infra-liminal sounds.  He also has a course which is 125 pounds.  The price of his audio and course are largely what threw up red flags but he apparently works one on one a lot in his course to overcome whatever block the individual has and his sound has been in development since 1998.  Maybe total crap but maybe undiscovered gold, who knows.  Doubt I'm willing to spend 60 bucks to find out on the audio, and def not interested at this point in doing a beginners course.  I might pick up his book and see if it is any good though.  Let me know if any of have read it, called Navigating the Out of Body Experience.

I actually haven't, but I have chit chatted with him a bit on facebook.
Really nice guy, but apart from that I don't really know much about him.

He sounds amazingly nice and genuine in his interviews.  I will write a review if I check out his stuff.

60 Dollars for some sound files feels a bit too much like snake oil quackery. Those margins feel just way too high for someone out to benefit humanity, especially for a digital download. Media that is that expensive commercially usually took tens of millions of dollars to produce.

It also worries me that the term "infra-liminal" only really comes up in a search paired with sites he is mentioned on.

I don't have any negative things to say about him, as I don't have any acquaintance with he or his ideas personally.

If you choose to investigate his material, it would indeed be good to post a review, as it is always helpful for others to know whom to avoid, and who may be helpful.

I agree with all your points.  Though infra-liminal is his creation so it would only be on his site (much like hemi-sync is a Monroe only technology.)  The base technology (like binaurual beats is to hemi-sync) would be the neuro-linguistic programming.  I have not looked into it too much.  60 bucks is a lot for a audio download.  However gateway is 600 bucks and even the basic audio files to go along with Journeys is 80 bucks.  I mean you could spend literally thousands on hemi-sync products, at least he is just offering one download.  Who knows I never would of given him a second look if not for the Campbell endorsement.  Was hoping someone on here could save me the trouble of being the guinea pig with him:)

First, Graham is a really nice guy. No shenanigans. Actually, he grew up poor and lives rather simply in England. He works directly with researchers in England (like Anthony Peake).

In regards to his books, Bob Peterson has reviewed his books online and you can find that information here.

I really enjoy Bob's informal book reviews. They are well detailed, and he has no problems saying a book is bad (if it actually is). However, he likes Graham Nicholl's books so far (he has read and review two). Hope this helps.

Bob reads A LOT too.
He seems to post a new review every week or so.  :)

@ Subtle Traveler

Thanks for the Bob Peterson resource, I am familiar with him as a writer (though I haven't read any of his books personally) but had no idea he had so many (or any) book reviews.

As far as Graham Nicholls I am in the middle of reading his newest book.  I am enjoying it so far, about half way through.  I feel it could of used a better title as it really isn't a tutorial based book, and all the induction techniques are in the back in an appendix (some of them are variations common methods, which he points out) some of them are pretty new though.  He has one called the G technique where you you basically do the same thing pilots do to move blood into their brains to prepare for G-forces (where he got the name G technique from), this causes your muscles to become exhausted and it puts your brain into a 'heightened state of awareness'.

So far the book is not at all what I expecting, though it is more interesting so this has been a welcome surprise.

Graham's perspective and investigation is directly into the "classic OBE" territory, what some call the "etheric".. He focuses on this territory and is drawing / broadening the collective consciousness into it specifically as a REALITY. As contrasted with deeper territories more outside the conscious understanding of what 'reality' is. It is very important work and he is holding this focus and this space extremely well. It is worthy of our acknowledgement and appreciation.

I tend to stay away from this myself, while at the same time understanding funds are needed to survive and do what it is we came here to do. It is a challenging edge to skirt.

@casey

Great post.  I am just now getting into that part of the book where he goes into collective consciousness.  Your post brought me to oh maybe a year or so ago when I was thinking back on my first reading of Monroe's books (which were my first reading on the subject period.)  I remember being very excited when I finished JOB and in the beginning of FAR and then I fell flat somewhere near the half way point of FAR.  I couldn't believe what happened with TMI.  I felt sure Monroe's purpose in setting it up was to investigate the connection of the obe state with this reality.  And I felt what happened was he instead turned it into a company capable of making a profit by focusing not on the connection between local 1 in particular and here but instead just how to get as many people into the obe state as possible (and with the use of aids which brought in revenue I might add).  I was mad, I had bought all three of the books together and after FAR I think it took me close to 5 years before I would pick up Ultimate.  I'm over it now, it was Monroe's journey to do with as he saw fit and TMI has been great in expanding this field.

My point with that story though is that I think so many people do just use local 1 or rtz or whatever as a jumping point.  I don't know how many times I have read oh local 1 is boring and you will never go there after the first view obes.  Several posts and comments I have read have the view Kepple's distance phase method is so great because you can just bypass this altogether and get on with deeper 'more important things'.  In the end all of our consciousness's are here on earth.  What is the point of being here if your only goal is to get as far away as possible.  Not to say you shouldn't explore those 'deeper' areas but I do believe we need to not only stay grounded to this reality in a physical sense but also in a nonphysical as well.

Basically all that was to say I agree with you 100% what Graham is doing is a worthy cause and we should acknowledge and appreciate that.  Which is not to say I agree with all his conclusions and research, I haven't even finished the book yet let alone processed all of the information from it.

The base technology (like binaurual beats is to hemi-sync) would be the neuro-linguistic programming.  I have not looked into it too much.

Sounds like those infra-liminal sounds are just hypnotic suggestions, only with a NLP twist on it. NLP can be very powerful. Let me illustrate NLP with an analog for a a verbal statement: Take this sentence for instance:

Undines Accompany Robert and are Evading the Tyranny in one Hour If Robert Stays Tolerant Ipso facto.

There is a structure (another sentence) embedded in the above sentence, namely; U ARE THIRSTI
Now they theorize that when one is reading the long sentence, their subconscious records "patterns and anomalies" in the long sentence namely, the upper-case letters. One should get thirsty after reading this sentence (depending on the sensitivity of the subject). Imagine what one could do with a long text inserting these anomalies. An analog can thus also be constructed using verbal words, slowing down, pîtching at certain letters etc.

I don't know his works and i can be wrong, but this is what NLP basically is.
