Title: Ability to control death?
Post by: micko on March 01, 2005, 19:03:24
Hello all.. while i cannot yet AP i have spent alot of time reading about it. Just a thought but i am reading about near death experiences on
http://www.near-death.com/experiences/research11.html

In most of these experinces these people did not fully understand the astral realm and what was going on. Now, if someone who has practised AP for a long time and is familiar with moving around and doing things, could they have more control about whether they live or die in a near death experience??   :?

Interesting point.

I suppose someone you knew about AP, probably wouldn't enter the white tunnel but the golden one..

;-)

seriously though, I suppose it's not big news if a APer has a NDE.
It's obviously a big deal of you have  NDE if you've never AP.

Interesting point, I've never read about a NDE from someone who was a experienced APer. So good observation.

I kind of view the NDE and OBE two different phenomenons. Thier similar in that the both have consciousness outside the phsyical body, but NDE may also include the tunnel, life review, meeting of loved ones and possiblity of meeting the supreme being or higher self (whichever you choose to call it). Has anyone here experienced similar traits to that of an NDE while APing?

There seems to be a lot of the in the
book  "adventures of the body" byWilliam Buhlman !

They'd surely have more control in oob state.
Whether they can choose to leave it forever, actually depends on the condition of the physical body. If the body is still strong enough it will pull the person back eventually. And it also depends on the doctors, they'll make sure that the person gains consciousness, you cant control them :)
If the body fails, you are gone anyway, even if you want to come back, and its not an 'NDE' anymore.

The thing I don't understand -

How do they create an object on the astral plane that says You Are Dead??

What machines or techniques do they use?

One thing at a time. First control being awake. Then control astral projection and lucid dreaming. Then control the deep dreamless sleep, which can also be made lucid. When you have mastered all of that and meditation, too, then you can worry about controlling death.

Its quite interesting because in some of the cases these people tell of "angels" coming to take them into the light. Possibly astral helpers? If these always come.. why are there people trapped in the real time and need to be saved? Could you simply say to them "no im not ready to go!"
