Does anyone here project a lot or try their best to project as much as possible? some one I know says they prefer it in the astral rather than in real life as in the astral anything is possible and that he tries as much as he can to project. Anyone else the same here?

I try a lot. Almost every morning, why not? It's fun

Stuff like this confuses the hell out of me.

I can almost guarantee that the individual who "prefers it in the astral" doesn't actually have any clue what they're doing.
Nor do they even understand the concept behind what they're saying.

It's like saying, "I hate air and oxygen, but I like breathing a lot!"

And when it comes right down to it... being addicted to ANYTHING isn't healthy.
You need BALANCE in everything you do.

why this confusing? the person prefers it out there. Obviously they are not actually addicted to the astral but it just an expression.

I think what is meant, is that even though we are Consciousness, we have chosen to be incarnated in these Physical bodies for a reason. That reason is to experience a Physical existence. We are here to experience, whether it be the good, the bad or the ugly.

A person that wishes to stay in Astral all the time is wasting this Physical existence away.

They should get outside in Nature more and smell the Flowers!

They are also likely trying to avoid that bad and ugly. But, the bad and ugly are experiences that teach us as well.

To tell you the truth I learn more lessons in life from the bad and ugly, then I do the good.

I wish we could "like" or "thumbs up" posts here.
Because you'd be getting a +1 click now!  ;)

Yes, that's exactly it.

Sometimes people feel that way because there is something in the astral that they can't get in the physical.

That could be because of the fact that there are no Physical rules of existence in the NPR.

Thought = action there.

Here we have to work on what we wish to achieve. We make a plan, then follow it.

The plan doesn't always work exactly the way we wish it to, but there are usually important lessons learned along the way.

...and some "happy accidents", I love those!  :-)

It's just not instantaneous like the NPR can be!

Think about what you're saying when you say that someone is "addicted to projecting".
You're not addicted TO projecting... you're addicted to what projecting offers that this physical reality can't.  The absence of rules.

Well, sadly... those rules are the reason why you're here in the first place.  Without rules you can't learn anything.  Well, you can, but you have to learn to Love unconditionally first... then you can learn to Love without rules.  Which is a catch 22, but more on that some other time.

Take the video game "Chivalry" for example... I was playing this one day and realized the connection.
If you've never played it, it's a game based on medieval warfare.  You play as a soldier, and you fight... kill others... die... fight... kill others... die... fight... kill others... die... there are literally no rules to the life of the soldier you play.  You just fight, kill others, and then get killed and start all over again.  There are no rules to life, so there is no gain to be had.

Being addicted to what you can't have is normal, but remember that everything has to be in balance.  You can project all you want, just be sure to also live all you can physically as well.

Also people assume that AP is some sort of escape from reality... but it's actually anything but... it actually reinforces it.

***** 5 Stars, well deserved!   :-)

Agreed, the physical is an escape from the astral.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

I've heard the physical described as a weekend away for our spirits.  LoL

I just thought that was an intriguing thought.  hehe

Once again I wish we had a Thank You button here, like on your Forum Xanth.

If we did you Bedeekin, Szaxx and Xanth would have a ton of them and likely most of them would be from me!

Although I currently smoke too much cannabis than I should and know I should stop soon, i feel my addiction lies more in the tobacco laced papers I put them in...Like the burning sensation you get when you drink coca-cola...Which I gave up a long time ago for water and water-based drinks...I can attest that excess does create some problems and I assumed failed attempts at AP were moderated by certain things beyond our control...

I have stated the same, "I prefer it over there." Not for control, or manipulation, as I can barely fly(I can produce lightning electrokenisis style.)
But I prefer it because it feels like home. When I am there I am not who I am here.  I worry-wart to the extreme. Over there I just know its gonna be alright. I do agree with those above me that you have to learn to love(truly love) before you can fully move over and experience what is really over there...
