I'd like for everyone to listen to this account by Adyashanti (I know, I'm posting a lot of his videos today... :)).
He doesn't directly say it, but this is a projection experience he's relaying. It should also provide some insight into the kind of mindset you should go into this with for projecting.
Tom Campbell also talks about this level of dedication to your practices.

That was good! Thanks for sharing!
That is what the Taoists call ru ding. It's this root fear of ego death that can happen in deep meditation. I learned that from Bruce Frantzis. And Bruce Frantzis learned it from an old Chinese enlightened master.
Edit Of course I am talking about what happened before the void of spaciousness. And thanks for sharing that Xanth.
If that is what it takes to consciously astral project no wonder it's so hard to consciously project.
The term "Dedication" is two fold... it means you put in the consistent time to learn it AND it means to give everything that you HAVE *AND* ARE to the process.
I know that I have been able to push up against that wall that he is talking about. I need to continue practicing.
He's understating the terror. He also didn't seem to experience the delirium that I did.
Does anyone know where I can find this video at? Or even where it's located in a long video?
