A few months ago i was going through a rough time and i started waking up in the middle of the night, not being able to move i would see and hear things, horrible things that terrified me to the point that i didn't want to sleep. After a couple weeks of this it suddenly stopped but then i found that sometimes in the night i would feel a strange vibration throughout my body which would slowly build up to a jolt which snapped me back into consciousness. Then one day when had a nap in the afternoon i found myself having that same vibration feeling only this time there was no jolt, instead i could see and i thought i was awake till i tried to move at first it was really difficult but then as if something released a felt my arms swing upwards, i couldn't see them at all but i could feel them and knew exactly where they were and what they were doing. I placed one on my face and could feel it, not like a normal touch but almost as if my face and arm were two magnets repelling eachother and the magnetic field was pushing on my face (really hard to explain :S) After i moved my hand away from my face i started to see them but not skin and flesh instead i saw strands of bright blue neon all interwoven which formed a hand like structure. After that i woke up completely shocked at what had just happened.
Even more recently its been happening just about everytime i lay down, I'm able to get up and move around now. Today i was looking at my body laying on the bed and decided to poke myself in the face, not only did i see the impact of my invisible hand on my cheek but i could feel it all. After poking myself i tried walking for the door of my room but for some reason I'm only able to move very slowly, almost as if I'm fighting against something that's pulling me back towards myself (this happens everytime).
Sorry if this is a bit hard to read :S I'm just so confused as to whats going on here. Has anyone had anything similar?

The first thing is called "Sleep Paralysis".
It's a natural thing that you're actually not supposed to consciously experience, but due to some troubles (ie: stress) some people do.  It's just you becoming consciously aware before the dreamstate "paralysis" wears off (that's the thing that keeps you from acting out your dreams).

The second part sounds like a good, full blown Etheric Projection.  :)
Congrats.

Is there anything i can do to make it easier for myself to move around while projecting? Cause atm its really difficult for me to move anywhere at all, will this just wear off over time? I have noticed that its becoming easier each time.

Everything you explained sounds dead on accurate.
I have expierienced that jolt thing you feel many times through the night. I actually made a post on here about it recently and no one else seemed to know what I was talking about. It's hard to explain what it feels like

Then you saw your etheric arms and hands in blue which is also what I saw my first couple times getting out.

And you will learn to move faster and easier as you have more experiences.

Thanks heaps man, can't wait till I have another day off so I can have a nice little "nap" :D
Yeah that jolt thing is pretty hard to explain, I sort of interpret it as my body slowly starting to remerge with my mind then suddenly snap back into place as I fully wake up. Sometimes i get that vibrating feeling with no snap but instead I hear a sort of strange humming noise in my ears, then things will sound as if my ears have just popped, the humming continues and everything sounds so clear yet almost like an echo.

Hi galenmist
Next time you find it hard to move about try speaking an affirmation, something like "Clarity Now" Or "Full Mobility Now" might work. Also repeat those affirmations or whatever affirmation(s) that you chose out loud when you are awake during the day. This acts as a sort of subconscious autosuggestion. Saying affirmations when awake should make them more effective when saying them out of body.
