its my personal opinion (with a theory behind it that i won't go into here) that the 'grays' are seeking our genetic makeup, our dna. they arent intentionally trying to scare us, and most claimed abductions/etc. are just some kind of metaphysical experience i cant explain. not everyone who's claimed to be abducted has been, but it started somewhere.
If I ever saw a Gray I'd beat the living hell out of it. I don't care if it's intentions are good or not. It's after my dna dammit! If you want some, take a blood test you f*ckwits, don't take me in my sleep[:(!].

I just wanted to bring a bit of seriousness into this thread[:)]
We are afraid of the unknown, allways will be while still human. It's the thing that keeps us alive, and the thing that keeps us from harm. We should not fear fears, embrace them and take it as a gift. I.E a person who tries to AP and is afraid of demons taking over his body, will most likely not project, while this fear is still alive. If a person has fears, he will not be able to function wery well in the astral world, as he might be alone and attacked by a malicious being. This incident could make him mentally ill, hence harming him. Embrace the fears, work them out, solve them. It is your friend and it keeps you from harm.
When it comes to the aliens: Solve the fear for them, the unknown. Certainly I would be afraid of an elephant if I was one in my back yard, eating my price-roses[|)]
And then you lads should probably change your attitude towards the aliens. God\Him\the Creator created them, and they have a purpose. Do not fear them or hate them, when you do not know them. Act the way you know deep inside is right. If everyone could change their attitude towards them, maybe they would make themselves publically known, something we most probably would benefit greatly from. I pity us for being so mean towards both them and us. Be smart. Do not let the aliens become what we made of the blacks, we know that was wrong, and so is this..

I dont know if I've talked to aliens or not. I remember some things that might have been that, but I'm not sure. Next time I see an alien, I'm going to talk to it. I hope none of you think humans are such a great species that nobody else is worth talking to.

Well I would talk to the aliens if they just gave me a chance. According to Mr Bruce in PPSD, Greys are Negs. Just like demons, astral snakes and spiders, et cetera.
But other aliens, such as the annunaki, I will be open to conversation.
Like I said, if I had the chance, I'd talk to a Grey. But all they do is sneak up on people and take them away whilst they are traumatised by subconscious memories of the abduction.

i think that there may be two different kinds of grays.. they may be the same thing, so it's more like there are two different ways to encounter them.
there's the kind that could be classified as negs, because so many people see them and claim to be abducted. some of them may be lurking around in higher dimensions, terrorizing us.
and then there are the actual physical kind, that have those things flying around in the sky, that people report landing with the little guys inside.

IMO fear is one powerful drain of energy. you get your energy drained and replaced by one of alien origin. alien means alien to spirit, not alien to earth. Negs are simply energy draining creatures - fear, suicidal thoughts, inability to focus your attention on anything, depression, feeling of weight on one's head or neck - symptoms of neg attachments. many people are rather programmed to catch negs automatically - try to remember the feeling when someone said to you (I wouldn't wish that happened of course) - "your father (mother, sister, dog) is dead?" .......remember what slips into you like lightning? or when you are approached by someone who threatens you? energy. this is energy

I think there's no clash between opinions. I would not argue against the fact that fear gives you some physical energy. Very chaotic though. You cannot channel or focus it - therefore you are forced to do what the fear tells you. Run, for example. After fear passes you can hardly remember what motivated you. Therefore, IMO, the energy you get while afraid is not fear itself, but instead spontaneous counter-measure trying to combat fear (drain of your spiritual energy), very animal in nature. If you are able to combat the fear and get rid of neg trying to attach itself to you, you are left with free will. Which does not mean you won't decide to run [:)] sorry for lame energy definitions I used.

Unless Im mistaken which is unlikely [;)], RB didnt say Greys are negs. He did state some neg's are "Greys". He pointed out the fact that just because they are advanced in many ways doesn't mean there wouldnt be some that would be negs. Its sort of like that thing.. rectangles are squares but not all squares are rectangles.. or the other way around. I dont know rectangles..

According to Lyssa Royal of the book Preparing for Contact , much fear of aliens is ingrained in the earth human mass mind, from they genetic alterations they did on the very early strains of our species, to make us. 'Abductions,' probes, etc, affected the mass mind to the point that it lingers, and we can get over this fear by taking our power, integrating, and seeing that the majority of 'aliens' are friendly. I am from an alien race, incarnate here as human to help here, for instance. [:)]

I think most "aliens" people see are actually non-physical entities that appear in "alien" form because it is the image that most modern human beings have come to associate with "the other" and with fear.
Think about the fact that people always used to see faries and trolls and demons...and now they see aliens. It has to do with the human consciousness and how the mind interprets things/entities and/or how the beings themselves want to be percieved.
I believe in "alien life" but I am very skeptical about actual physical beings visiting our planet.
Shaper is right that fear can easily drain your nonphysical energy. I dont let fear control me. I let it tell me what I might want to pay attention to, and if I choose, use its physical advantages like adrenaline.

Getting back to the original topic: Are there creatures that feed off of our fear?
Of course- if we can all accept that 'energy' be it described as chi or whatever, runs through every living thing then that can be used as a basis for what I am about to say:

creatures have evolved all over the globe to take advantage of food- be it meat, fruit, high leaves on trees, if there is a source to extract energy from, there is almost certainly an animal to take advantage of it, well imagine if the astral plane(s) have been evolving for as long, if not longer, as we have, it would be logical that entities living on that plane of existence would take energy from sources- and lets face it, human emotion is one big, never ending source,
however it doesnt end with fear- we can see that many demons 'feed' off our energy- succubi for example feed off lust, how many reports have I read on here of 'frendships' with astral beings? What if they are just using you for your friendship emotions, however it would also be logical to feed off of the most prevalent emotional supply- and when a human encounters something new- what does he feel- fear,uneasyness, anxiety or anger- even in one case- i read months ago about a woman whom, upon entering what she felt as a 'forbidden' place, was chased home for punishment- having secret knowledge she 'stole' taken from her mind- what if that creature was simply having a delicious banquet of curiousity and a nice after dinner teror dessert? I am not saying that friendships with astral entities are a bad thing, they assisst both entity and human, however experiences which leave a person afraid, MUST be stopped, if there is a way of combatting such practices they must be used, for only in this way shall the astral become an easily accessible area for us all.
