Am i close to AP

So I have been trying to astral project and decided to do it in the afternoon. I was sitting here and started looking at the inside of my eyelids (following Monroe) theory. Anyways, I started to see light flicker and then this sensation of "taking off " came over my body and my heart started to race. I woke up immediately. Do you think I am close?

Yes, just stay the course and passively observe it all with an air of curiosity.

It sounds like you are at the onset of AP. So you still have a ways to go though.

If you have a sensation of taking off then you are very close.   You have to make it happen.   Seeing lights flicker is also another sign that you are close to ap.
