Lied down this morning to relax. All of a sudden I was lucid dreaming and so my initial response was to just rock my body in my dream to force my energy body out of my physical body. When I was, I figured I would project myself to my friends house. I was suddenly floating/flying at the speed of light then I saw a store with my friends name on top. She doesn't have a store, and so I tried again but I was woken up by my mom in my dream. Now I thought I was awake because my mom woke me up. I wasn't because I was still in the dream. Looking for my mom I could not find her, then I woke up to realizing my mom waking me up was just a dream. I was completely dumbfounded, because I really went through my ceiling to fly to my friends house but ended up in an unknown location. Anyone ever had an experience like this.

Hey!

This sounds identical to my experience. From what it sounds like I think you astral projected but lost focus after flying to your friends house and I think maybe it went into dream mode from there. I was walking around my house fully aware but then things got muddy and made no sense. Found myself in unknown places feeling more like a dream.

This is just my opinion though! I have only have one OBE so I can't say much. I bet there are folks on here who could fill you in more though.
Hope that helps!

You must have had a wtf? Moment when you were walkin around. Lol
I was like confused and dumbfounded when I thought I was awake.

Lol yeah it was an exciting moment when I got out of body because I know I had finally accomplished it. I looked at my hands and saw the melting effect like Robert Bruce explained. I was so excited from there I floated through my hallway and watched myself lying in bed. I was fully aware. But I noticed after a while things got extremely weird and I wasn't as aware as I was to begin with and things got really muddy and confusing. Then I think my body realized I was in dream mode and I became aware for a second or two... and all of a sudden I felt my physical body vibrate and boom! I woke up. It was awesome but I hate when your physical body decides to go to sleep! I just gotta learn to keep my physical awake to a certain point I guess.

I just picked up Robert Bruce's Astral Dynamic and his 90 days Program. So far I'm likong it. I have only experienced 3 obe and they were all very short because I could never hold my concentration steady. I keep losing my focus. I need more practice with meditation. But I'm hopeful that ill get bettter with studies and practice :-D

That's interesting, it really does sound like an OBE to me, especially since you travelled to a place with your friends name on it. In OBEs, the appearance of buildings (in my experience) doesn't always look exactly the same (especially when you go outside). So, I have a small idea that you were actually successful, just confused when you didn't see what you expected.
I see energy, can manipulate it, and meditate to induce OBEs on a fairly regular basis... The experiences are so wild, intimate, connected, confusing, overwhelming, and thought-provolking. I am now: OBSESSED. It is a fact that OBEs are real, but HOW REAL?

I've had the classic OBE sensations of rising out of the body only to find myself in an entirely different room or neighborhood. Sometimes there is similarity to my actual physical neighborhood. From my experience we can get displaced in time and then on top of that there may be an infinite number of parallel realities we can get mixed up in. I have yet to experience an OBE where my room or neighborhood is exactly identical to the physical.

Thank you for the feedbacks, this is really making the foundations of my studies much stronger. I told my story to a  friend who also does obe and he said its hard to explain but there are more than 1 reality and that where I went was exactly that. I'm going to try again tonight and see if I can get any deeper results.
