Any current OBE research projects?

I been looking around trying to see if any paranormal research institutes or organisations have been researching the OBE phenomena at all but not found a lot. Does anyone know if there are any current research projects taking place by anyone? perhaps by some sort of univercity or something. I am always interested in their findings when people try this. ty.

I don't know about OBE (though you might read up on people like Charles Tart and John C. Lily), but you can always look into stuff like the Institute of Noetic Sciences (www.noetic.org).  They do what research into "parapsychology", or psychic abilities, ESP, etc.

In the "professional" world of psychological/parapsychological research, you have to know the key words to look for.  Noetic sciences or psi research is what you have to look for.

There is no current OBE research occurring because there is no funding for it and the reason there is no finding is because its not recognized as real from a scientific view point. OBE has no potential for making profits or fighting wars therefore of no use to the powers at be it is like the ouija board on the fringe of human conciseness and looked upon with fear and distrust, as if the practicability of OBE is the delusions of insanity or the scam of a con man. We all know this is not true but science is a very narrow way of thinking and the art of OBE includes no numbers or measurements. Astral Projections has been tossed into the dustbin of science because its already been declared a hallucination. Check out this link

Making sure that anyone who is vaguely interested doesn't proceed with their investigation.

How can science prove something spiritual? If science can prove OBE than maybe they should go about and prove GOD. Food for thought

With they way "the people" are, they want those cold hard facts. It's a wonder why they don't feel the same way when it comes to religion though
