Any suggestions?

I feel like I'm going backwards with AP... The last few experiences I've had I become conscious in the morning and I feel small vibrations, they used to be huge, and I could hear astral noise. I feel myself flying up out if my body in darkness, and it's like I'm floating up...out....out... And I'm back in my body. Today I felt it come on, and with every inhale I would float up, then exhale, I'd float back down to my body..... It's so weird because I started out being outside of my body floating around my room and now I'm feeling puny vibrations with no sight, and I can't even get out... I just don't know how to get out of my body quickly or when to try some exit techniques... Any suggestions? Thanks guys.

I've tried just about everything in the book(s) and the rope climbing technique works amazingly well for me. In fact, I don't even have to be that close to feeling an exit/going to sleep for it to work.

Okay... Maybe i need to go back and explore this method more thoroughly...I'll check it out Jilt.. Thank you. :)

For me using an Expanding Vibrational Bubble or (EVB) technique really works here is what you do.

1.get in a comfortable position laying on your back is very important!

2.when you start feeling vibrations even very "puny" ones that's when this technique works its magic

3.feel the vibrations and relax don't get too excited. Start by imagining your body is in a tiny bubble and focus on making the bubble bigger

4.when the bubble starts getting bigger your vibrations will get a lot stronger and enable you to project

The more you advance in projecting, the more you'll lose those sensations you depend on to know when to exit. My advice is to practice leaving when you feel yourself, are ready to leave the body. I'd also like to back up the rope method. That's the best exit method and also the simplest, in my opinion. No astral sight? when your out of your body just demand to get vision. Also, will power will take you far, if you leave than pop back in your body, the first thing you should even do once you leave your body is to get away from your physical body.

Hahah, I had an awesome night last night! Astralblogger, I became conscious around 3:30 am and I felt the vibrations... I tried imagining I was a bubble... And I think I realized what my problem was... I was trying to move during vibrations... Because this time I just layer there and breathed through it... I rose up up up, then down down through my bed and I heard some man talking then I felt 2 drops of what felt like water... But the fear got me! Dammit! Then this morning I tried again... I was laying on my side and I feel vibrations, it felt as if my arms were moving but I don't know if it was the physical or astral... But either way. After vibrations, I felt myself able to move so I rolled out and desperately tried to fight was from my body, and i almost made it out of my room, but I couldn't see very well and got sucked back in... I feel like laying on my side doesn't help at all.

But either way, thanks Astralblogger and Astraladdict! I hope this works for a while. Now I realize how to just stay still and breathe with the vibrations, then head out... I just have to get over that crazy fear.... I need a baby nightlight or something... Bahahaha.

After you start having sensations (vibes?) see if you can get noises.  Then do energy body loosening and then an exit technique.
If you don't think you have projected get up and walk around.

CFTraveler.. I'm such an ametuer, I'm not even sure what energy body loosening means.. I really need to do a lot more research on AP... I bought Robert Bruce's book... I'll see if it has a section for energy body loosening.. Thank you!

MAP does, I'm not sure if AD I or II do.  I couldn't find anything here, so here's what I wrote at ADf:
Energy body loosening methods:

Prestimulate your secondaries for a little while. Then go to a full body bounce. Start bouncing your energy through the torso, then from the feet to the head. Then start bouncing your (energy ball, sponge, whatever) against the floor, through your body and ceiling. Repeat a few times.
Now go to your base chakra. Get it lightly stimulated, get a ball in the area and start bouncing it from the front wall of your room to the back wall of your room, going through said chakra. Then do this with your heart chakra and finally your third eye (from front to back, as before, and side to side, starting in the middle, then going to the temple-to temple bounce then taking it through the head to the walls.
Balloon metod:
If you're still firmly 'in', go to balloon expansion of the energy body breathing (Expand to feel the walls closing in and deflate to feel the room go back to it's normal size)
Side to side roll
One more: Roll from side to side as if you were going to exit that way.

These are the ebody loosening methods that I like.
