Title: anyone ever look at a digital clock while on an OBE?
Post by: izalco on January 25, 2006, 22:38:25
the other night I had multiple OBe's in one night,

because the heater is faced the the my head, I sleep the other way as it gets to hot.

anyways, in my first OBE I woke up and felt like something was attached to my penis. Then my OBe started but something didnt seem right.

I started to run towards the living room, and was pulled back into my body, then I started to OBE again, and then I said, let me look at the clock.

the strange thing is, I remember everything clearly UNTIL I looked at my clock, then I cant remember anything....

anyone ever look at a clock while OBE?

I've looked at clocks several times before, but for some reason, the time changes everytime I look at them. Sometimes, they numbers don't even look like numbers...weird...

Yes. The same effect happens in dreams, and in fact the effect is more visible there. Sometimes the clock doesn't show the time at all and instead displays words or symbols or shapes. Although, why you can't remember anything after looking at a clock, I don't know.

The subconscious must not like to know the time.  The one and only OBE I had, the one clock in the room was replaced by a painting, every thing else was spot on accurate. Very weird.

Izalco,

Many times I've seen clock radios analog/digital and to report back sometimes the numbers change, they can be weird letters/numbers or remain the same time format. For the most part, if your hold your consciousness and focus the numbers won't change on you.

I've studied clocks (a fascination of mine) and watched as the hands dart and move around all over the place with a life of their own.  This happens  as I watch!  I've never tried to actually "freeze" the clock hands, by concentrating, but I suspect they wouldn't obey!

Hmm, interesting. I've witnessed this too. I wonder if it's psychological (ie. something the human mind regards as special about clocks) or some property of the 'astral'/F2

The same thing happens with road signs - these change when I look away and then look back!  The "name" on the sign always changes!  Annoying!
