Title: Anyone like me out there?

Yes I think that lying on the back causes a bit more discomfort and therefore keeps you a bit more aware.  When I go to sleep, I curl up on my side because its much more comfortable to me.

up until very recently,I used to be terrified of sleeping on my back.I would always have sleep paralysis episodes,as well as bizzare spirit visitations seen w/astral sight.I have had so many of them that the fear of them is totally gone!

I do find it somewhat difficult to get relaxed while lying on my back.In order to have any success at all in meditation or projection,I have to do a lot of stretches and yoga before I even attempt anything.

for some reason, I find that I cannot project at all in any other position except on my back.

I'm not sure if this has been the case my whole life, but I will never try to sleep on my back because I feel funny when I do.  I call it funny, but I'm saying that I feel like I'm staying more aware up to the point of falling asleep.  I mean, it may have a lot to do with having learned to OBE on my back (in Earth position), but I remember having false awakenings every morning as a child.  Could it be that I or all people have a natural tendency to project when lying in that position?  I mean, I can lay on my back and almost instantly project or get the vibes.  My eyelids will feel like they're fluttering and I almost get dizzy from the strong vibes.  Are there a lot of people like that?
