AP and thunderstorms &AP on left side

In some books that i read about AP, i could find that APing during thunderstorms can be bad or difficult. The same if you cross pole power lines. I hear too that its better to AP in your right or in back position?

Is these true or what? why?

about the right position one day i was projecting (a partial one) in my left side and the projection was very vivid and clear..i dont see the problem...is that about the hearth? maybe your heath its in a bad position (with the pressure of the lunges over i..maybe because of that its hard to AP. Some doctors advise to not sleep in your left because of that.

Total Mystical crud.  Mystics love to make up all sorts of stupid little rules.  Don't pay attention to them or you will only be left able to project from an incline of 33 degrees, while facing magnetic north, surrounded by blessed white sage that only grows on the southern slopes of the Andes mountains.  Oh yea, and you will NEVER be able to project if you haven't given your guru dejour $3000 over the past year.

Obviously I am being flippant, but you get the point.  Try not to make too many rules, they become self fulfilling prophecies.

Hi Kaz

You've been a member here for ages, far longer than me.  You must know by now that the best way to project is to have no expectations.  

I would advise that you don't put your faith in anyone else - find your own way.  Yes, pick up tips from us all, but ultimately, it's your own personal journey.

Don't get bogged down in other people's limitations (including my own - I'm not knocking anyone, I'm knocking everyone but yourself).

maybe you are surprised for me dont be yet an Astral projector, but i always have stupid excuses to AP. The main one its time and patient for dedication to "the cause". My work gets me tired enough to try AP at night, thats my problem.

Anyway, with hollidays near i must concentrate my efforts on that task (learn AP).

That had me laughing, too. I've read books where they've said you need to be facing north, thunderstorms are dangerous, humidity should be a certain level, cold weather makes it difficult, don't eat peanuts, don't be near metal, become a vegetarian, wear certain colors, and so on. I think this is an area where the amount of BS published about it far exceeds the amount of truth, maybe at a ratio of say 50-1.

Yeah it is all very silly, I read one site that mentioned to only project on certain moon cycles!

In my opinion, the major factor for APing its the mood: are you in a good or at least in a "ok" mood? Great, then you can AP, otherwise, being sad or worst its not a good idea.
