Well, if you project into the Real Time Zone (if that even exists), then you might be able to have a real influence on the physical. Monroe describes something like this in his first book. He pinched a friend of his, and this friend got a bruise. Personally, I doubt this.

Well, the experience you have would be real to you.

Do you mean his reaction while he is awake? He most probably wouldn't notice anything, as the "astral" realm seems to be influenceable by thought, desire etc., so you would most probably just punch a thought form. A thought form is something created by your mind. That means, the thought form would react the way you expect it.

Is it possible when you are in the astral state to interract with people that are not. For example if I walked down the street and punched a neighbor in the face, would it be real in my reality, but not his?  I know it probably would not happen to him in real life, but in my astral state would I see his reaction and be able to interract with him.
