My friend at work who projects frequently said that he and the person who taught him to project used to meet up in his dreams all the time.   Afterwards when awake they would discuss what was going on.  To my friend it was a dream and not a projection.

There's a book by Dr. Douglas Baker called 'Practical Techniques Of Astral Projection' which talks about using dreams to have an OBE from.  I read this book many years ago and it has an interesting premise, which basically amounts to becoming lucid while dreaming, then projecting to wherever you wish to go.  Try as I might it never worked for me (I usually ended up waking up), so I'm not a big fan of this technique.

I have had a bazillion Lucid dreams.
I have only had maybe 20 forced obe's and like 20 spontaneous

they feel so different to  me
I dunno what to even say about that... like ....they feel nothing alike to me
In lucid dreams..even if i am completely lucid and aware..i still feel less aware than in normal consiousness

in obe's i feel like my brain is operating double time..like im super smart or something
(other than the fact that i get distracted by every shiny object like a 5 year old that is)

I projected from a dream once (NOT a lucid dream though..i actually was trying to project in my dream) only once the vibes hit and i flew out did realize i had been dreaming
it was  a big contrast to feel both states
it still did feel like i was exiting my body
like
i actually HAD been internal

so those are my thoughts
or yeah
man
im tired
dont listen to me
hahaha
yawwwwnnnn

I agree with you Grenade01. Theres nothing comparable to the super concious state of being that is experienced on the astral. And those points of light?????  WOOOOOOOOOOOWW!!!!

Lucid dreaming for me is a whole different ball game.Complete with clairity and ability to direct,or, shift over to an o.b state are all there the exception being that I can not always transfer over to the o.b state.[its the whole side and back issue inwhich I do not fully understand]regardless the l/d conciousness is not comparable to o/b.

As for being in the astral while dreaming Xehupatl, certainly sometimes.I dont believe all the time though or getting to the o.b state of conciousness would not be so difficult after achieving lucidity.
I have however noted that when having multiple dream themes while in the same enviorment that often "I" am o.b in what apper to be dreams or as I prefer to call the astral hallutinations. For me when at that point theres no effort requiered to make the shift. Its simply a case of obtaining clairity and I soon realize that infact im o.b in that very location I first thought to be dreams.

I'm sorry I just HAD to post this question, although it may have been answered hundreds of times over. .. okay here it goes,

Until now I have always believed that there is a big difference between astral projection and lucid dreaming; that in a Lucid Dream we were just inside of our own mind, and that during Astral Projection we are on the outside, going into the real-time zone or the astral planes and stuff.
I also believed that the possiblity of having an OBE during a lucid dream was BS, i.e. that an OBE from a Lucid dream was just another lucid dream ....

Well, now some people say that during a dream we are actually in the astral plane; which doesn't sound too bad for me, either ...

Has anyone had experiences with that? Being possible for two dreamers to meet in the dream-zone and remember it afterwards; or having a OBE-from-LD confirmed by some kind of medium - would be proof for me that we are in the astral during sleep ....

Anybody?
Thanks again!
